Four people were night fishing when the two who stayed by the fire reported footsteps and brush movement behind them. The witness later heard walking sounds, a grunt/growl from 20-30 yards away, noticed a strong pungent odor, and heard a whooping sound from the same direction. As the group walked out around 12:30 a.m. the witness felt they were being followed toward the bridge. No creature was seen.

The sounds stopped and started with them, and the witness exchanged whistles back and forth with the unseen source for about ten minutes. They never saw what made the sounds.

The customers suspected a prank, but the witness became convinced the sound was a Bigfoot and later asked not to be sent on further trips.

The witness camped alone on the east side of a small lake after hiking in about three miles. Around 1 a.m. while stoking his campfire he heard loud wood knocks approaching from the hill and loud vocalizations from the opposite shore about 100 yards away. The source also threw sticks toward his camp. After he fired a rifle shot into the air the sounds stopped, and he remained at camp until the next afternoon before hiking out.

Two paranormal investigators visited a rural pioneer cemetery late at night for a walkthrough after hearing about recent rock throwing and large tracks nearby. Near an opening in the fence at the southeast corner they found three large barefoot footprints in soft clay leading away from the cemetery and photographed them with a cell phone. About 75 feet away they noted a small tree that had been snapped and bent over outside the fence. They left after about an hour without seeing any animal or person.

The witness reported a foul odor at the same time, similar to a previous foul-smell incident that had left the dog unsettled for days. No creature was seen, only the odor and the dog's fear behavior were reported.

The witness remained about an hour trying to see it leave but did not see it again.

Two residents found a single large footprint in mud under an apple tree in their suburban backyard that backs onto woods. The print was measured at about 18 inches long and seven inches wide, with missing fruit noted on the tree above it. No creature was seen. Police and later an investigator each visited the residence to view the footprint and speak with the witnesses.

While going outside for breaks between midnight and about 3 a.m., they repeatedly heard a distant moaning-howl in groups that agitated local dogs and horses. Unable to identify the sound at the time, they later compared it to an Ohio moaning-howl recording and judged it to match.

The companion ran ahead while the witness briefly watched the figure before running to a truck in fear. The figure was described as very tall with broad shoulders and seen only as a silhouette for a few seconds.

Both men then watched a tall, dark-brown, upright creature move quickly through dense brush about thirty feet away. The witness noted the dog's fearful reaction was highly unusual for a dog accustomed to bears and cougars.

The witness was working alone at a gas compressor site around 2 a.m. when the headlamp caught reflective eyes in the woods beyond a fence. The source of the eyes stepped from behind a tree to the fence, then turned and walked bipedally into a creek bottom, prompting the witness to retreat to the truck and call the employer. Weak lighting prevented detailed observation, but the witness recalled a tall dark muscular form.
