The witness was alone at an abandoned campground at night to photograph fireflies. They heard two loud single wood knocks about 45 minutes apart coming from the woods ahead/southwest, with no other animal sounds, footsteps, or odor. Unable to explain the sound, the witness packed up and left.

The witness was driving to an early-morning shift when she slowed for a large dark figure beside the road. The figure was crouched on two legs at the brush line, appearing to peer through the brush toward deer while glancing at the headlights. Turning from the porch, the guest saw a tall, wide, silver-haired biped standing partly behind a tree, which held a branch and then mirrored the guest's raised hand. The guest retreated to the truck, watched the being walk away showing a rounded head and muscular build, then left quickly, later resigning the route.

The witness returned to the parked truck after walking dogs uphill on a road. He found a truck door open, then two rocks came from an uphill ridge, one landing in front of the truck and a larger one passing close to him. He heard two low grunts from that direction and later heard brush moving away as he left to get assistance.

The witness was driving on a backroad through a wildlife management area in low light and misty rain. A very tall dark bipedal creature crossed the road about 40 yards ahead of the vehicle in a few large steps, swinging its long arms. The witness estimated its height at 7 to 8 feet and said it was not a deer, bear, or human. Two other adults and a baby were in the car but were facing each other and did not see the figure.

The witness was walking to a deer hunting blind before sunrise when he noticed a dark shape lying across the trail in moonlight. The witness and a companion were night fishing from a boat on a river backwater late at night. Over about an hour they heard several loud knock-like sounds from the treeline and ridge, sometimes answering each other from different distances, plus a close splash and the sound of something large moving along the bank. As they left, the movement sound seemed to follow them upstream until a shallow cove, while the companion reported additional knocks the witness did not hear.

The witness was driving family members back to a hotel at night when she saw a very large solid black bipedal figure cross the road in front of the car. She described it as extremely broad and muscular, visible only as blackness with no discernible features, showing its side as it moved quickly from right to left into the woods. No other occupants saw it because they were not looking, and she did not stop because the children were frightened.

A few days later around midday a massive dark bipedal figure was seen leaning from behind a tree, was photographed, then left with heavy steps and a foul smell as the phone camera failed. That evening and the next night loud echoing vocalizations and loud bird-like whistles were heard while deer disappeared and the woods went silent.

When they returned after finishing the route the figure was gone but vegetation where it stood appeared pushed down.

The entity ran in front of the car, cleared a ditch and fence with ease, then continued through a sheep field toward trees before disappearing. The witness and a friend camped in a hollow below the family home and jokingly made tree knocks and whoops. Knocks and ape-like whoops answered from multiple ridges and appeared to converse. Later something large circled camp, rushed in, stepped onto the tent tarp, made gorilla-like huffs above the tent, then left, prompting them to flee to the house and return next morning.

The witness was driving at night on a rural mountain road toward a rented cabin when a bright orange circular light ahead flared intensely and then went black. He stopped and found a live deer lying on its side in the road that appeared paralyzed and uninjured, then briefly turned to get his phone and found it gone without sound or trace. The surroundings went completely silent before a tall, top-heavy muscular silhouette appeared about 50 yards away and stared at him. After a peaceful-feeling standoff the figure walked up a bank and left, and forest sounds returned.
