The witness was driving family members back to a hotel at night when she saw a very large solid black bipedal figure cross the road in front of the car. She described it as extremely broad and muscular, visible only as blackness with no discernible features, showing its side as it moved quickly from right to left into the woods. No other occupants saw it because they were not looking, and she did not stop because the children were frightened.

An investigator spoke with the witness afterward, confirming massive bulk, inability to estimate height, and a roughly 30-yard crossing distance on a dark road.
