Possible footprint found on edge of Chatham

Two residents found a single large footprint in mud under an apple tree in their suburban backyard that backs onto woods. The print was measured at about 18 inches long and seven inches wide, with missing fruit noted on the tree above it. No creature was seen. Police and later an investigator each visited the residence to view the footprint and speak with the witnesses.
