The witness was driving back roads after collecting mail when a line of large footprints was noticed on a dirt road. The witness brought a companion to view the trackway and both took photographs, returning the next day for more photos, measurements, and plaster casts. The trackway reportedly ran along the road for about three-quarters of a mile, entering and leaving adjacent fields, with large dimensions and a long stride.
Possible sighting by a First Nations member while hunting outside The Pas Area
The witness was hunting and shot a duck that fell near a pond. While searching for the duck, a large furred animal burst from cover and ran on its hind legs. The witness fled and the dog chased the animal, with the dog returning later miles away and only the duck's wings found.
Tall manlike creature seen while on a family outing near The Pas
The witness became separated from relatives while out in forest near a lake in spring. The witness stopped at a trail entrance and watched a tall dark manlike creature scrape bark with its palms and pound a tree trunk with a fist. The creature paused and turned to look at the witness. The frightened witness cried and left the area after viewing lasting a couple minutes.

The witness was on a solo early-morning walk by a lake and causeway when she first mistook a large dark animal for a bear. It stood up and moved with unusual fluidity, grimaced and vocalized, then retreated toward the treeline while a larger concealed animal roared, snapped trees and shook vegetation. As she backed out between granite rock piles, she saw a massive auburn-haired arm pressed flat against the rocks close to her. She eventually left the area and became physically ill from fear and adrenaline.

The witness filmed an unclear figure near a work site in a remote forested area. The witness showed the tape to family, after which others in the community and media became aware of it. An investigator later viewed the full tape and described it as blurry and small in frame but showing additional movements.
Grouse twice left on trail for hiker
On June 5th 2004 the witness was leading a group at a large archaeological site when the witness struck a large branch against a dry pine to try calling a response. No response was heard at the time. About four hundred yards along the exit trail the group found a dead grouse placed in the middle of the trail with wings tucked, still slightly warm, interpreted as a fresh placement similar to an earlier find.

The witness was flying as a front-seat passenger in a small bush plane over an isolated highway. He noticed a dark, upright figure emerge from the south, walk straight across the highway and ditch, and disappear into the bush, watching it for about 30 seconds. He did not point it out to the pilot until afterward and saw no parked or moving vehicles nearby.

The witness was driving north on Highway 6 in central Manitoba on a clear late morning. About 200 meters ahead, a black bipedal animal ran across the road from east to west into thick bush in only a few strides, swinging its arms. The witness noted a dead deer on the road not far from where the animal crossed.

The witness was driving a manure truck on an icy dead-end road when he saw a large upright man-like creature standing in a snow-covered field about 100 yards away. He watched it for about 20 seconds while driving past; it remained upright the whole time and turned its body to follow the truck. He described it as big with large shoulders, long arms, uniformly dark coloration, and a human-like head without a snout, and said it was neither a bear nor a man.

The witness was driving slowly home on a bumpy gravel road in the late afternoon when she noticed a large dark hairy figure just off the road about 40 yards away. She observed its back as it walked calmly into the surrounding brush, noting broad shoulders, no visible neck, and a head pointed on top, but she did not see its face or legs. After returning home she told a relative, who searched the area with a camcorder but the figure was already gone.
School teacher sees "thing" at school yard fence in early morning
A teacher was awakened around 1-2 a.m. by barking dogs at a school campus and looked outside from her doorway. About 25 yards away under a pole light she saw a very large dark figure outside the fence holding the top barbed wire with its head level with the wire. The motionless figure made a repeated cough-like sound and was gone when police arrived with spotlights. Pupils later reported finding large barefoot prints in patchy snow where it had stood.

The witness was moose hunting from a tree stand at night when a bull moose he had called approached. A large upright creature crossed the clearing quickly, causing the moose to flee, then circled to within about 50 yards of the stand. The creature hid behind willows and watched the witness for 30-40 minutes before leaving to the northeast.
Woman sees creature cross city park
In October 2001 around sunset, the witness watched from an apartment window as a tall, brown, hair-covered human-like figure walked across a park toward adjacent bush. The figure moved quickly yet gracefully and casually, covering the park in a short time. A day or two later the witness revisited the grassy park with a companion and found no traces.

The witness was hauling bales by tractor toward a relative's farmyard in the late afternoon when a tall dark figure was seen walking and crossing the road ahead. The figure was initially mistaken for a relative, but the actual relative was then seen at the house. The witness and the relative searched the area shortly afterward and found no one, with the nearest heavy cover described as a quarter-mile away.

The witness was driving south on Highway 6 in northern Manitoba in daylight when they noticed an animal bent over in a grain field about 50 yards off the road. As the car got closer, the animal stood upright and turned to look at the passing car. The witness described it as a tall, massive, two-toned brown creature with thick arms and no apparent neck, concluding it was not a bear.

After hearing an indescribable noise twice, the witness saw a tall dark-haired figure standing in the road that watched briefly before retreating toward brush while glancing back. The witness drove away quickly and later told a local officer and a roommate about the sighting.
Huge human-like footprints discovered
The witness and a companion hiked into a remote area beside Cedar Lake to collect ancient amber. While wading along the flooded shoreline the day after hiking in, they found fresh, huge human-like footprints in a sandy area that led west into the swamp. The prints were described as 14-15 inches long, narrow for their length, with a running stride and deep depressions. They recorded the prints and surrounding swamp with a video camera.

The witness was driving on a highway with a relative as passenger in the morning when a black, fur-covered biped emerged from roadside brush. The figure crossed the highway to the opposite side with a distinctive marching stride and swinging arms, then went into thick brush. The witness braked but did not get out to search.

The witness was driving home after dusk and slowed to turn onto a gravel road when a shape was noticed in the ditch. Thinking it might be an escaped horse, the witness aimed the truck headlights toward it for a better view. The figure was covered in dark brown hair and moved away rapidly while walking upright. The witness, frightened at not recognizing it, left the area and went home.

The witness rode as a passenger at night while the father drove north to visit family. A large upright creature propelled itself out of a ditch and crossed the two-lane highway in two strides. It paused briefly on the far side, stared at the vehicle, then disappeared into the dark ditch.
