Three people driving to the Washita River spotted a tall, dark-haired figure across the river on a powerline easement. The figure paused when it noticed them, then stood, moved toward the woods, briefly looked back after a shout, and disappeared. The encounter lasted about 15 seconds in the early evening.

The witness was driving north to work across the Canadian River bridge in the morning and looked east down the river. He saw a very large black bipedal figure wading through the water toward the north bank, creating a visible wake. After crossing the bridge he looped back to look again, but the figure had disappeared into trees at the river edge.
Possible bigfoot stalking around RV campground 23 miles east of Honobia
A family was camped by their camper in daylight when a loud wood knock came from the treeline about 50 yards away. All family members turned toward the sound, and their leashed dog growled and stared toward the trees while trying to scent the source. After about 15 minutes they dismissed the incident.

While the witness did a live broadcast from a hilltop cemetery, companions stayed with trucks below. On return they found human-like but non-human hand, forearm and elbow prints low on the truck beds, a tailgate down, and an unlatched cooler with water dripped out. A later expert comparison said the fingerprint ridges ran straight across rather than swirling like human prints.

In early summer 2007 the witness was traveling north on Highway 259 near Big Cedar in the morning. About a half-mile ahead, a tall, very dark bipedal figure with long arms crossed the highway. The figure was uniformly dark brown to black from head to feet.

A couple staying overnight in a yurt woke around 2 a.m. to loud howls coming from the east across the river lasting several minutes. About half an hour later they heard louder, closer hollering vocalizations from the woods to the west. They stated the sounds were unfamiliar and unlike a bear, coyote, or bobcat.

The witness was driving toward Honobia in the morning when a reddish-brown figure was seen crossing the highway ahead. The figure moved very quickly on two legs on a diagonal path and disappeared within seconds. The witness later returned to search both sides of the highway for tracks but found none.
Couple describes strange loud animal vocalization near Beavers Bend State Park
The witness and his wife arrived at a vacation cabin in light drizzle and began unloading their vehicle. After a nearby dam-release siren sounded, the witness heard a deep growl that changed into a howl, then a high-pitched scream, then prolonged wooing sounds lasting about two minutes. His wife came outside during the wooing portion and also heard it.

The witness went archery hunting on personal property before daylight and found a small tree near the shooting lane pushed over. After climbing into the tree stand and turning off a headlamp, the witness heard loud knocks like a stick hitting a tree from about 100 yards away in the woods, first four knocks then later two knocks. No figure was seen.

Three people sleeping in a tent while camping were awakened around 3:39 a.m. by loud knocks. Over nearly an hour they heard five to six sets of triple knocks coming from multiple directions and distances, each set ending with a grunt or exhaling animal-like sound. The closest sounds were estimated about 50 yards uphill, and the witnesses felt the sounds seemed like communication between intelligent creatures. They left around daylight and agreed not to camp at that spot again.

The witness hiked past the communication building to a powerline crossing overlooking the river. From about 250 feet away, the witness watched a dark, hair-covered figure at the river edge walk inland parting reeds, noting long arm hair with a reddish tinge in the sunset light. When the witness reached for a phone the figure noticed the witness, eye contact occurred without visible facial detail, and the witness fled back up the trail.

The witness was sitting on a front porch with a dog when deer ran through the yard across the road. Seconds later the witness heard footsteps and saw a tall, wide dark figure cross the pasture, step over fences, cross the road, and disappear near where the deer went. The figure never looked toward the witness and moved very quickly in few steps.

The witness stopped at a rural four-way intersection before sunrise while driving to work and turned left. As she completed the turn, a very large athletic figure ran across behind her minivan from one side to the other, seen only as a silhouette in the rear window. She kept driving without stopping and remained rattled by the sighting.

Three family members were bank fishing in the early evening when they heard rustling across the road and felt they were being watched. They then noticed a skunk-like smell, heard a low grunt/growl sound and a large branch break. They watched a large tree get pushed over and fall, then left immediately without ever seeing a creature.

After buying a large older rural house the witness and child experienced footsteps, pounding on a glass sunroom that frightened dogs, a cabinet door opening on its own with a temperature drop, and shadow figures. Once a drinking glass moved from a cabinet and shattered in another room and a dog suffered a cut on top of its paw. The witness eventually sold the property and reported no further activity after leaving.

The witness was fishing from a kayak on a pond at dusk when a large splash occurred about 15 feet away toward the shore. No movement was heard and no creature was seen. The witness inferred a rock had been thrown because the pond lacked large enough fish and nothing floated to the surface, and believed a person could not easily have reached that dense shoreline after heavy rain.

While the companion set a static camera across a creek, the witness knocked on a tree and saw a reddish creature behind a fallen tree bobbing and weaving as if curious. It showed head, shoulders and arms for about six seconds then vanished silently without trace.

The witness and several relatives were gathered on a house's back patio in the early morning when they heard seven or eight loud whooping calls from a creek bottom to the south, followed by the sound of a cow in distress from a pasture across the creek. The whoops were described as distinctive, starting low and ending higher, and were unfamiliar to all present. A relative later compared the sounds to published Bigfoot call recordings and felt they matched exactly.

The witness, with relatives, stopped their truck on back roads at night and heard a short whooping ape-like sound from the treeline about 15 yards away. After backing the truck up about 20 feet, they heard a second louder, deeper and more aggressive vocalization of the same type from a different direction, which the witness interpreted as coming from a second animal. They remained in the area for several hours, looked around with a light and lantern, and heard nothing further.

The couple returned after midnight to a tent left near the river to listen. After unusual owl-like calls and total silence, they heard zigzagging footsteps approach within twenty to thirty feet. A tent crinkle caused loud bipedal running away, and they left at sunrise.
