Human? Sasquatch? Other? ... Hiker photographs strange small figure wading in remote marshy pond
On a Monday afternoon day off, the witness hiked alone to a remote glacial pond and bog. From the pond overlook around 1pm she noticed a figure wading at the far edge and took two photos, after which the figure turned to look at her. Feeling frightened she left, later checked the shoreline from another path and found no one, and on reviewing the images thought the figure looked inhuman.
Daylight sighting by motorist along highway 149, ten miles SE of Lake City
The witness was riding as a passenger in a truck descending a mountain pass while looking for wildlife. A tall dark hairy figure emerged at the forest edge, turned uphill and walked along the treeline with a gliding gait for four to five steps until a road curve blocked the view. The witness was unable to speak at first, then asked the driver to stop, but the driver did not see the figure.
Sasquatch sighting near Shaver Lake, California (2026)
While driving her grandson to his summer job at the scout camp, the witness saw a figure standing motionless in a cleared area under power lines. She observed its right side as it faced south, noting reddish-brown hair, a small head, and long arms, with its feet hidden by grass. She drove slowly past and later returned to confirm no stump was present.

The guest describes a night walk with a large research team that crossed a creek and headed into thick brush before turning back. On the return, two team members scanned behind them with thermal and captured a large heat signature behind a tree plus a smaller signature nearby. The group interpreted it as a large female with a juvenile and discovered large footprints there the next day.
Sasquatch sighting near New Meadows, Idaho (2026)
A group of about ten young campers spent Memorial weekend at a secluded forest clearing. After earlier strange sounds and a brief sighting, one camper encountered a tall bipedal figure near the camp bathroom area and alerted the group. Several campers armed themselves, moved children into a vehicle, fired warning shots, and pursued the figure toward a nearby friends camp where they reported being circled by three tall dark-furred bipeds. The following mornings the group reported handprints on vehicles, footprints, nests, and broken-tree crosses and teepee structures around both camps.
Wood knock near Ashland, Ohio (2026)
A couple hiking in a wetland preserve heard several loud wood knocks after crossing a boardwalk bridge. Later on the trail they found several large barefoot human-like tracks pressed deeply into mud, which the reporter photographed. No creature was seen and no other unusual events occurred at the time.
Daylight sighting 20 miles northeast of Penn State -- a sasquatch crossing I-80
A driver traveling west on an interstate in Pennsylvania in the late afternoon saw a tall, uniformly dark, slender upright figure cross the highway from right to left in front of a car ahead. The figure moved quickly and smoothly, cleared a guardrail without pausing, and disappeared into a wooded median within a few seconds. A passenger in the truck did not see the figure.
Farmer family has a daylight sighting of a bigfoot and gets brief video 50 miles NE of Dallas
Three witnesses feeding a dog noticed dogs barking and running toward a figure emerging from a treed area. The figure moved quickly without running across a pasture toward a pond, walking upright before dropping to all fours near the pond, while the dogs stopped barking and returned to the house. The witnesses recorded distant photos and video that are unclear when enlarged.

After giving vocal calls from a fishing dock after sundown, the witness got responses, then silence, then rocks splashing near the dock. He went to the parking lot with a machete and faced eyeshine about 70 feet away. He and the creature mimicked each other's movements and exchanged grunts for 20 to 30 minutes until a fishing bell rang and it walked away whistling softly.
Fisherman sees a sasquatch while fishing at Clinton Lake, 19 miles SE of Topeka
The witness and a companion were fishing from a dock at night and made whoop-like calls, receiving vocal responses. Rocks reportedly splashed in the water near them, and the witness approached reddish-orange eyeshine to within about 70 feet of a tall standing figure by a tree. The figure kept its distance while vocal exchanges continued, then left when the witness looked away at a fishing bell.

Review of phone photos taken earlier the same day near a lake revealed what the witness believes are ape-like figures beside a large old-growth tree. She noticed shiny fur, a wrist and hand gripping bark, and gray on the face, with possibly two additional dark figures nearby. She shared the images with coworkers and the host as possible accidental photos.

The witness received a motion alert from a cellular trail camera overlooking a creek and saw a single large brown-and-black bipedal figure standing in the water about 100 feet away. A live view checked seconds later showed the figure was gone, and an evening search found no footprints. Comparison photos with a 6-foot relative standing at the same spot suggested the figure was several feet taller and two to three times wider.
Couple has daylight sighting of two bigfoots crossing road in Goethe State Forest 25 miles west of Ocala
Two people driving south through a state forest in late morning watched two dark bipedal figures run across the road from west to east. The driver reported seeing both figures cross while the passenger saw the second one as it entered the woods. They stopped, got out, and found large impressions spaced far apart in dry grass but no further visual. An investigator later visited the site and documented road widths and photos.
Rock throwing near Neosho, Missouri (2025)
Three young men walked a trail at night in a conservation area to look for a pond. Rocks were thrown toward two of them from the woods, strange pacing, a low growl, and rhythmic booming sounds followed them. They found fresh green trees snapped and laid across the trail blocking the path, then were hurried out by more rock throws and close movement before the woods went quiet and normal night sounds returned near the car.
LAST WEEK (06/23/25): Close range sighting of a sasquatch by a motorist near Sturgis
The witness was driving alone at night on a highway through the Black Hills when a large dark biped stepped over a guardrail onto the road very close to the car. She saw its shoulders, chest and legs beside the passenger side before it disappeared into darkness behind the vehicle. Frightened, she did not stop and immediately called her fiancé about what she had seen.
Train spotters describe night time incident at Folkston Funnel (railroad junction)
Four people were train-spotting and camping by railroad tracks at night when they heard noise in brush across the tracks and saw eyeshine and a large silhouette swaying. They reported a foul odor, cats fleeing, and rocks thrown toward them from the brush direction, with impacts sparking on the tracks. One teen went inside while the remaining witnesses heard chatter and a branch snap south of the first figure, leading the witness to think two creatures were present. The witness then lit the brush and saw a tall bipedal silhouette stand before it disappeared, with no further activity over the next two nights.
Camper is surprised to see a face looking back at him from a ravine near TN/NC border SE of Tellico Plains
The witness was hiking with an expedition group near an old building and went behind it to look for sign. About 50 yards away the witness saw a dark shape that resolved into a face with heavy brow, broad nose, dark hair and dark eyes that turned to the side and back before disappearing. Afterward the witness heard whistles and a low guttural sound, felt unwelcome and unwell, waited, then later sketched what was seen.
Paddleboarder spots two bigfoots in daylight near edge of the Meanders section of Payette River north of McCall
The witness and a companion were paddleboarding on a slow river after the seasonal crowds had left. From a sandbar the witness saw two large dark figures standing together in trees across the river watching. After attempting to film with a camera that failed to record, the figures were gone. The witness paddled toward the area, took cell phone photos of a possible face in the trees, then felt unwelcome and left.

The witness, working as a process server, made a fourth early-morning attempt to serve papers at a rural property. From inside the locked car she saw a very large black hair-covered standing figure and a much smaller gray emaciated figure with an antler-like object on its head about 50 yards away. She took photos while feeling frozen, then backed out and drove away quickly. Later review of the photos appeared to her to show additional figures including a female holding an infant and faces near a shed and tree line.

The witness and partner visited the same lake-trail area on a busy holiday weekend. The witness saw a fast dark figure cross the wide trail behind a deer, then later stood feet away from a tall black fur-covered figure with long arms that disappeared instantly. The partner did not see the figure but saw a branch fall, heard snapping, and they found and photographed footprints.
