Before sunrise the witness and a partner rode a quad up a road and waited for light. A woman with a flashlight identifying as a game warden told them to leave because of a collared grizzly. Object throwing in Idaho
While hunting with a partner walking ahead, the witness was struck in the neck by a large mushroom or toadstool. The witness reasoned the partner could not have thrown it and no vehicles were around. The witness noted mushrooms must be pulled from the ground and thrown, not fall from trees.

Backtracking the prints, the witness found scat with berry seeds under a boulder where something appeared to have squatted.

As a child camping with family in a volcanic national forest area, the witness heard extremely loud howls echoing off lava tubes and canyons. The father thought they might be mountain lions. The witness later heard real mountain lions and concluded what was heard then was something different.

On other nights from May to October he heard pacing in bushes, hoots and a combined hoot-scream that flashlights could not locate. He also found separated deer legs near the yard without hearing coyotes.
Property disturbance near Hudson, New York
After moving a parking lot, a young deer died in a new fence. The witness and coworkers tied the carcass down in dense scrub oaks and set a camera to document scavengers. The carcass was later gone from a spot that would require untying and carrying, with no removal captured on the camera.
Property disturbance in New York
A volunteer reported a deer lying in a field. The witness and an assistant found a headless doe with no blood and a clean cut, dragged it into the woods, covered it and set a trail camera. A few days later the carcass was gone but the camera had photos before and after with nothing showing the removal.

Growl in Virginia
After weeks of noticing unfamiliar vehicles and being followed, the witness sat alone on her porch at night and heard an unfamiliar grunt-growl approaching. She then watched a very tall, solid black, bulky biped with very long arms walk diagonally across the field toward her, fleeing inside when her husband's headlights arrived and the figure vanished. She links the sighting to later helicopter, dog, equipment and livestock-loss activity in the same valley.
