Vocalization near Mount Washington, Massachusetts
Account
On fall nights the witness heard an angry big-cat-like sound from high in trees, with no barking or commotion below, which neighbors also heard. On other nights from May to October he heard pacing in bushes, hoots and a combined hoot-scream that flashlights could not locate. He also found separated deer legs near the yard without hearing coyotes.
