Tracks in California
Date unknown
California
Account
While hiking off-trail on vacation, the witness found a bedrock mortar that had been cleared out with a pestle left in it. Crossing a dry sandy creek bed, the witness found large bare footprints that stopped at dense vegetation. Backtracking the prints, the witness found scat with berry seeds under a boulder where something appeared to have squatted.
Summary drafted by AI from the source report and checked by code before I publish it. The witness's own words remain with the publisher — read the original report .
