While driving a dirt road to a family hunting spot upriver, the guest saw small cinnamon-brown long-haired figures romping in tall grass beside a clear-cut meadow near the tree line. He first thought it was a little bear but stopped because the movement and proportions did not look like a bear. He reversed, got out of the truck to look, and within seconds the figures were gone. He later interpreted them as possibly juvenile Sasquatch, perhaps two individuals.

The guest and a companion had finished gillnet fishing for salmon on family property along the Klamath River and were sitting in the truck with doors open on a foggy night. They heard loud deep guttural vocalizations from across the river, followed by a similar answering call from upriver. Both men froze in primal fear; the guest reached for his rifle and turned on the truck lights but could see nothing through the fog. He later compared the sounds to published vocalizations and found them identical.

While watching rafts on a river, the witness noticed a distant dark figure pacing in circles on a river island about a mile away. Even zoomed with a camera it remained blurry. The witness said if it was a person in dark clothing the behavior seemed odd, leaving it as only a possible sighting.

During a blizzard the witness rode as a passenger in a pickup leaving a fish hatchery area. Looking into blowing snow in roadside grass, the witness saw a long-haired being reclining on one arm and holding an infant while peering toward the road noise. Farther along the witness saw another upright figure blending into the tree line.

While deer hunting in North Idaho the witness climbed down a steep embankment to a valley with scattered horse, elk and deer skeletons. The witness saw full trees apparently used to pin animals and photographed them. While photographing, the witness heard heavy bipedal crunching approaching up a dry canyon that stopped when he stopped, and he fled uphill.
