While hunting alone in Pocomoke State Forest over many years, the guest repeatedly heard single knocks and monotone whistles with no farm or people nearby. In one area crossing a ditch the woods would go silent and he felt watched about forty percent of visits. He once found only the front half of a deer lodged six feet up in a tree fork with no remains below.

A disabled veteran neighbor who trapped muskrats said that while bent over a trap in a deep drainage ditch at night, a dark blob about 30 feet away charged past him down the bank into the woods and knocked him over. Afterward he stopped checking traps after dark and carried a larger gun. He had also found a button buck corpse with missing forequarter and broken neck that scavengers avoided.

The guest and a companion drove by a pioneer cemetery on a dark fall night and spotted a white rose in leafless bushes. When the driver got out to pick it, the bushes shook and the rose turned to dust and smoke and vanished. Both fled in the truck.

The guest's brother repeatedly saw a tall figure in a brown suit standing at the foot of his bed in the old farmhouse. The guest's father said he had seen the same figure. Both men were ill and reportedly sensitive to spirits at the time.

While riding horses in the woods as children, a companion found large footprints by a creek and the group made plaster casts. The guest doubted the find because the companion might have stepped barefoot or with a shoe to fake them. The casts are now lost.

Rock throwing near Wharton, Pennsylvania
The witness and five companions hiked four to five miles off trail in Elk State Forest and camped in a mountain clearing for what was meant to be a week-long trip. After dark, rocks were tossed at them from the surrounding woods from more than one direction, followed by hours of circling heavy footsteps and crashing brush that they could hear but not see despite using bright flashlights. The group remained awake and armed until just before dawn when the sounds left in opposite directions. In daylight they found a beaten circling path and a deep flat human-like barefoot print, then packed out the same day and cut the trip short.

About a month before the recording, the witness had a vivid nighttime experience in which two juvenile Sasquatch children appeared about two feet in front of her. She perceived a boy of about eight and a girl of about five, both covered in wispy black hair with round black eyes and wearing human-like clothes. She felt they had been intentionally presented to her, sensed a maternal presence nearby, and stopped herself from touching them.

In a separate incident at the same farmhouse, the guest woke at night to a strange gobbling sound ending in a snort. She also heard loud bipedal running back and forth in the woods for several minutes while outdoor dogs remained silent. She compared the loudness to horses yet could not identify the animal and called the experience bizarre.
