After a fire the witness believed a family group had left the area. On returning on the witness's birthday, the witness found extensive tracks for a hundred feet in both directions. The trackway included very large prints and smaller prints attributed to different age classes.

A couple with land shared game-camera images showing a bobcat turning to look at something with two large eyes visible. The tellers were shown the photo, which was later enlarged and measured at about eight feet high. The eyes were described as too far apart for an owl with no branch for perching.
Vocalization in Colorado
A parent and child camped with a dog on a forest road and set out a recorder. Overnight the teller heard yelling moving through woods, knocks, a lion-like roar, and something repeatedly lifting and setting down metal dog bowls on a table. The dog stayed silent, and raccoon prints were found on the table in the morning.
Object throwing near Bailey, Colorado
A family spent the day at a dispersed site by a boulder, with children playing and the group cooking. In the early evening while organizing to leave, a pine cone flew in a straight line from across the road and uphill, passing close enough to feel air and striking the ground near the teller. Family members denied throwing it, and a loud angry yell was then heard down the road.

A hunting companion walked in early morning to a tree stand to hunt all day. Something circled the tree unseen, left a large foul-smelling scat, and left. The hunter was shaken, later spoke of a possible sasquatch-like sighting, and stopped using that stand.

While getting ready to sleep with a bathroom window cracked open, the guest heard a whistle from that direction. The guest checked on parents who were asleep, then closed and locked the window without looking out. The guest chose not to respond to the sound.

After the expedition, the guest reported strange activity at home. The guest's mother, resting on a couch facing a mostly glass back door, screamed that someone big was looking in. Nothing was found when lights were turned on, and a blanket was hung to cover the door.

After the canyon, the group drove to a second brushy road to sit and listen. They saw red lights and heard a whoop, which on approach proved to be young people with red lights making noise. The guide was described as unhappy about the disturbance.

A group of five did a guided night hike in a steep creek canyon. They encountered a wall of rotten-fish odor, a shadow movement across the trail, equipment failure, amber and whitish lights, a shimmering blur with gnat-like points, and a dark blob rising along a pine without moving branches. On the way out they heard a twig break, a heavy stomp, and child-like laughter very close in the dark.

A woman at an outpost told two visitors she sees three juveniles when she goes to the same area. She warned them to back away if the forest goes quiet and they hear humming or buzzing. The visitors relayed her warning and sighting claim.

A fisherman with family near the same fishing area left abruptly after the wife and children encountered a biped looking over a rock. The teller later spoke with the fisherman, who was reluctant because others laughed. The husband left to town and had others retrieve the family.

While fishing a creek, companions had rocks land on them that they said they did not throw. On a later foggy morning below a ledge, rocks fell from above, one thrown back struck something solid, and a deep grunt was heard. The slope was described as too steep for a person to have run away unseen.

After losing contact for a time, the witness sat alone playing for about an hour with no response. He then spoke aloud asking for a sign if anything was there. Immediately he heard a twig snap behind him and a large branch sound out toward the meadow.

After a quiet period with no activity, the witness returned to the back meadow area on his birthday. He found what he describes as hundreds of tracks spread over a large area, including smaller and larger sizes and one very large track with deep toe impressions. Whooping had previously been heard from the same spot, which he took as a welcome sign.

The witness camped alone apart from the main camp during an expedition with two other people. He secured his tent against a thick bowed tree and brush because something seemed to be stalking him. On the third night about one o'clock, something pushed the tree down right behind his head, then released it to spring back up, while making sounds next to the tent.
Rock throwing near Oakridge, Oregon
The witness says his only rock-throwing experience happened with a companion down in the swamp kitchen area. Small rocks were thrown as light intimidation, followed by twig snaps and a shrill whistle first on the swamp side then on the wooded side, making it seem like more than one individual moving around them.
