The witness sat concealed near a watering hole before sunrise to watch and photograph deer and elk. After about 30 minutes an upright figure appeared over 100 yards away behind a fallen tree, showing its upper body for about 45 seconds before slipping behind a large tree out of view. The witness stayed longer, photographed deer, then inspected the spot and estimated size from the fallen tree but found no tracks.

The reporter and a relative were fishing near their camp. The relative heard movement in the bushes, looked up, and saw a black figure running up a hill.

Seven years after the sighting the witness returned to the same embankment in daylight and found a clear footprint with toes. Others joined to examine the trackway showing where subjects had crossed the road from the basin. Casts were taken despite poor soil.

The witness was driving a semi downhill from Government Camp late at night. He noticed a large ape-like figure standing on the right shoulder facing away from the road. As his truck lights illuminated it, he saw it was covered in hair and remained motionless as he passed.

The witness was with others filming a snowboarding photoshoot at night when they heard a very loud whooping sound nearby. The witness said it matched a whoop example on the website. They tried calling back a few times, but the sound stopped after a few minutes.
Heavy footsteps heard near construction site
The witness was photographing a metal building construction site when they heard unusually loud, heavy footsteps that sounded bipedal and unlike deer. The sounds lasted several seconds, paused, then continued, seeming to move away from very close by, with branches breaking. The witness reported feeling ground vibration and strong fear for safety and did not search or collect anything.

The witness spent a week sleeping on a second-story screened porch near Government Camp and heard distant howls and whoops on the first night and soft whistles from multiple directions on two other nights. On one dark night the witness felt watched from a tall pine while whistles came from another direction. The witness later thought the sounds matched those on a TV show and an investigator recording, but also allowed they could be a multi-night prank or natural sounds.
Late night encounter by a motorcyclist outside of Marseilles
The witness was riding a motorcycle home from night work at about 1 a.m. when making a turn beside a cornfield. A large dark figure was seen standing at the field edge a short distance away. It leaned forward and gave an extremely loud high-pitched scream-like call heard again moments later, and the witness accelerated away without looking back.
Man and son hear strange sounds from three creatures during night
The witness and a relative were sleeping in a tent when animal noises woke them. They heard strange high-pitched vocal sounds from close by on both sides of the tent, followed by a lower scream-like response from farther toward the lake. About three minutes later they heard a louder and more intense screaming sound about 100 yards to the southeast before going back to sleep.

Late at night while driving on a dirt road in the mountains, the witness and family saw a tall dark figure standing by a small pond in bright moonlight. When the driver angled the headlights toward it, the figure turned and ran upright on two legs into the trees within seconds. The witnesses described it as much taller and wider than a person with no clothing, and a next-day return found no tracks.
Man describes his dusk sighting near Geneva
The witness had parked at the road to collect firewood and was returning to the truck when a large hairy bipedal creature crossed the road about 30 yards away and entered the woods. The witness drove to the crossing point and saw yellow eye reflection looking back from the woods before it disappeared and the witness left. An investigator later visited the site with the witness and documented the road and surroundings.
Motorist sees creatures stand up from behind clump of grass
The witness was driving past a grass-covered mound at night when a figure the size of a tall, heavy-set man rose quickly from behind the grass. The figure was backlit and silhouetted, seen for about a second, with an impression of short spiky hair, and did not otherwise move. The witness reported an intense, instinctive physical alarm response lasting about ten minutes afterward, which led to interpreting the figure as a Bigfoot.

The witness was fishing with two children and a dog at a remote lake when they heard a loud crash and tree-breaking sounds nearby. Over the next few hours they heard repeated rhythmic knocking, noticed a strong foul odor, and saw the dog become frightened and cling to them. They also noted many small snapped trees and worn foliage around the lake. They left in the afternoon feeling watched without ever seeing an animal.

Late at night on July 4 the witness's family was setting off fireworks in the yard when a companion noticed movement and a dark shape nearby. All present then heard a very low deep growl unlike anything they had heard before. The source then moved away crashing into the woods, and a search with flashlights found nothing.

The witness and a relative were night fishing while parked in their car when they heard loud howling and grunting that grew closer. After waiting, they drove away and their headlights illuminated a very tall, hairy biped crossing the road in long strides before going under a bridge toward the water.
Footsteps in Massachusetts (2011)
Two 11-year-old boys walking home around midnight through connected woods heard huge heavy bipedal steps crashing through thick brush toward them, stopping 10-15 feet away by a light post. They heard a deep guttural growl and both became unable to move while still able to speak, until the witness broke free and hit his friend to free him and both ran uphill. The witness looked back and saw an enormous black muscular figure standing by the light post staring, then fled to the friend's house and avoided the woods the rest of the summer.
Footsteps (2011)
The witness drove to Yellowstone in July 2011 during a personal crisis and camped near the road. At night in pitch darkness, neighboring campers fell abruptly silent, then heavy two-footed footsteps approached from the road and lingered over the tent. The witness lay paralyzed with fear for three hours holding bear mace, never saw the visitor, but believes it was Bigfoot and says the experience restored the will to live.
Camper hears howls, rocks thrown
While camping near the upper arm of Lost Creek reservoir in late July 2011, the witness was awakened around 1 a.m. by loud howling from across the water. The witness heard three deep guttural howls lasting several seconds each coming from a heavily forested area described as having no roads or habitation.
