Late at night the witness was driving home on a dirt road while on the phone. A tall hairy biped ran from right to left across the road and was struck by the left front bumper, cracking it, but continued without slowing. The witness turned back and found nothing at the scene except a strong foul odor. She described the creature as much larger than an adult man, with short brownish-red hair, a large head and very long massive arms, without seeing its face.

The witness reports never seeing any animal or person.

Three members went closer to investigate in the dark and one was struck in the side of the head by a small pebble, prompting them to return to camp. Branch-breaking sounds continued into the evening, and the witness heard larger stones being thrown in the forest overnight from a tent.

The witnesses were at the base of the trail at the Lemolo Falls viewing area when they heard a loud high-pitched vocalization described as like a warrior yell from toward the top of the trail. They considered that it might have been a prank and stayed on guard for the rest of their hike. They reported seeing no other people in their hiking area during the full hike.

They watched three large bipedal silhouettes approach through trees across the creek, with the first stopping close and squatting to observe them. After a smaller, more distant figure gave piercing screams and a closer figure answered with a guttural grunt, the figures started moving toward each other and the witnesses left for their truck.

While bow-hunting, the witness heard repeated loud knocks from nearby woods lasting many minutes, then later heard brush rustling moving toward an elk call. After repositioning along a road, the witness heard a final very loud knock from a large tree about 30 yards away and left the area as darkness fell. A hunting companion nearby reported hearing a couple of knocks.

The witness was driving east out of Fort Scott, Kansas into Missouri at about 4 a.m. when a hair-covered bipedal figure ran across the road in front of the headlights in two or three steps and disappeared into forest. The witness noted a brief bad smell just after passing the crossing spot.

Late at night at his hillside home, the witness was on the driveway and porch trying to get his two large dogs to go into the woods below. A very loud, powerful yell or holler erupted from close range downhill, which he felt vibrate through his body and which silenced all dogs in the area. His dogs froze with raised hackles staring downhill, then pigs and possible raccoons were heard moving up a valley, followed by distant dogs barking uphill as if something moved away quickly.

A group of four campers spent the evening at an equestrian campsite beside the forest. After hearing walking sounds and a faint scream-like sound, they watched nearby treetops shake violently while hearing cracking and rattling branches. The shaking then stopped abruptly leaving the woods silent, frightening the group into dousing the fire and going inside. A next-morning search found no footprints or fallen limbs.

The witness drove to a bear bait station in the early morning and paused at a trail fork. A large gray-white creature crossed the trail about 50-60 yards away and continued through brush toward the bait site, with loud bipedal footsteps heard for several seconds. The witness left immediately and later returned with a companion only to retrieve a posted sign.

The creature strode across the road in a few strides, then stopped mid-stride and looked back toward the witness before moving off to the side. The witness estimated it was very tall and thick-chested with long arms and light brown/tan hair.

They heard knocking sounds, snorting, and sounds they interpreted as a deer being killed very close by. After returning inside, the witness later heard snapping and cracking sounds in the woods and compared the vocalization to recorded Bigfoot sounds online.
