After a conference, a group went to state land at night and used a game caller. The witness repeatedly glimpsed a small upright figure running along the wood line and dropping into tall grass, visible only out of the corner of the eye. Others present could not see it.

After firing leftover rounds, something crashed up and down inside the treeline without crossing, barked at by dogs, and was heard by parents, but never seen.

While squirrel hunting in winter the witness checked mud beyond a log for tracks. He found a small human-like bare footprint with apparent dermal ridges, about eight inches long, far from roads in freezing weather. He could not explain it as a person being barefoot there.
