While walking home at night through a familiar field while on the phone the witness noticed an hourglass-shaped solid black silhouette sitting in the grass about ten to twelve feet away. He interpreted it as a big cat waiting to ambush deer and kept walking without reacting. He noted big cats in the area are few, elusive and powerful.
Wood knock
A few months after the road sighting the witness was camping with a friend in quiet woods. After the friend went to bed he heard a rapid series of loud wood-on-wood-like booms sweeping from left to right behind him with no footsteps or debris sounds. He retreated to a tent and in the morning the friend said he had heard thunder despite calm weather.

While driving on a straight road the witness saw half a deer lying in the road with intestines laid out in a neat ninety-degree arc. No vehicle debris was present despite the force needed to split the animal. When he returned the next morning no blood or remains were visible.

The witness was driving slowly around tight corners at night when he saw a huge foot with orange hair disappear into a hedge on the left. Almost immediately his attention was drawn to a single huge eye shining on the right side of the road. He drove past without stopping and the eye disappeared after he passed the spot where the foot had vanished.

While on top of the trestle bridge after hearing footsteps, the guest filmed video and his wife took stills without seeing anything at the time. Reviewing the footage at home, they describe an upright gray reptilian-like figure walking through water while cradling a large dead wild boar, preceded by blue orbs doing figure-eights.
Animal behaviour in North Carolina
After the gray sasquatch encounter in North Carolina, an orange orb followed the group out of the woods for about half an hour, hovering ahead of them and expanding when the guest's wife spoke to it before shrinking again. The guest says he captured it on video.

While living in North Carolina, the guest with his wife and teenage daughter investigated an old train trestle, heard heavy two-legged footsteps in a bayou, and saw multiple sets of blue and red eyeshine. One gray individual walked up the far bank and was lit with a spotlight, visible from the chest up above seven-foot vegetation before walking away.

Inside the cabin one night, the guest unknowingly got up and walked around filming and photographing with his phone. Reviewing it the next day, he found images of a small winged light he describes as looking like a fairy floating in the air.
