Two fishermen hiking toward a small lake near Linton Lake approached what they first thought was a bear feeding in a meadow. The animal stood up and faced them from about 100 feet away. After a standoff in which one man reached for a gun and the other stopped him, the creature slung a deer carcass over its shoulder and walked into the woods while the men fled to their truck.

While vocally interacting with one individual on one side of the house, the witness walked in a horseshoe path around the back to the other side. Rounding the corner he felt hair rise on the back of his neck for about a second and a half and walked through the sensation. He speculated another individual may have been close on the property.

The witness was on a neighbor's property at night demonstrating infrared glasses while coyotes yipped nearby. A sound came over the top of the coyote chorus. The neighbor stopped and asked what it was, and the witness told him it was the Sasquatch he had described.

In daylight the witness stood by a fence facing an open field with his back to the woods. After passing gas he laughed, wondering if he could get a reaction. Within two seconds he heard an oo sound from behind him in the woods, which he took as a deliberate response.

After loudly crowing back three times at a distant rooster in the morning without intent, the witness got up unable to sleep around midnight. From just inside the woods across the road came a loud rooster crow. He interpreted it as a Sasquatch that had heard him that morning mimicking him, noting roosters do not crow at that hour.

Returning alone to the same campground, the witness sat quietly at night then slept in his van with a small window open. Around two in the morning something moved through camp making a strange yowl he did not recognize. It passed the van into the trees and he went back to sleep.

While driving with the witness over a bridge past a campground, the witness's wife said she saw a sasquatch cross the road. The witness was looking at a fishing hole and did not see it himself. He said he believed her because of the area.
