On the first Cambria trip hiking in darkness, the witness felt pressure pushing her forward, identified by a researcher as infrasound. The group then watched a steady blue ball of light float, approach, and disappear, followed by two sets of glowing eyes about eight feet up that came closer and dropped quickly when lights were turned on.

The witness found four nine-inch footprints with toes coming over the fence into the horse pasture mud, which she noted could possibly be human sandal prints and did not investigate closely.

Returning to the parked jeep, the witness found a stick glyph that had not been there when leaving. While changing boots in shorts, she again smelled the sweet odor and felt tickling and hair on her bare legs with no visible figure, which stopped when she spoke, prompting her husband to want to leave.

The witness saw white glowing eyes turn black and then a small human-like infant and a six-foot male she called Junior squatting in brush. She spoke to them while hearing vibration in her ears, trees crashing behind, and cameras malfunctioning with blurry and deleted photos.

Two prospectors cooking dinner at their camp heard movement and watched a bear run past the camp, splash through the creek, and continue into the forest. Immediately afterward they watched a bigfoot follow the same route past the camp and across the creek while ignoring them. After a stunned pause they examined the creek bank and reported finding bear tracks and large bigfoot tracks, including one bigfoot track overlying a bear track.

As a child in the mid-1980s, the witness repeatedly heard strange squelching and screaming sounds. The sounds were said to come from a gravel pit located behind a friend's parents' house. The witness recounted the childhood experiences to an investigator during an interview in February 2002.

It moved very slowly in a slight up-and-down wave pattern about 25 yards away. He first rationalized it as a hunter with a flashlight, then realized it was not a person and drove on.
