Whistle near Saint Matthew's, South Carolina (2012)
The witness was staying in South Carolina during a period of intensive spiritual practice and spent a night outdoors with intentional focus. After a series of unusual lights and personal experiences, they heard multiple whistles from different directions, a tree knock, and close breathing and growling behind them followed by a brief odor. About a week later they saw a tall silhouette in the woods that vanished behind a small tree while small rocks landed nearby and a dog reacted unusually.

She describes a charcoal-gray figure emerging from a hole doing a spider crawl, a tall black figure eight to ten feet with amber-to-red eyes, claw-marked trees, an X of trees, burial-like mounds containing white and black fur, stick shelters, tunnels, a deep vibrating growl, trash-can lid activity at night, and many photos later lost with electronics failures.

The witness fished and hunted Sauvie Island for years without incident until a day on the Gilbert River that caused them not to return. They twice heard a deep resonant scream like a howler monkey that went through them. The witness also reports other Oregon encounters without visuals including thrown rocks, knocks, whoops and loud crashes.

They fled to the house, and their father fired into the woods and heard something large crashing away.

On his very first BFRO expedition, the guest and two others stood at the end of a horse trail by a field and creek. They all saw two red glowing dots above head height that moved left to right and down over about thirty seconds. The next day they found pressed grass where something had gone down a gully.

The witness was leading a night expedition and scanning with a thermal camera while waiting for a lost group. A large heat signature stepped into view and then vanished in a bright flash. The next morning the group recreated the distance and estimated height.

After returning to camp around 2:30 a.m., the witness lay awake in his tent when something pressed down on the tent top and moved around camp. He heard strange chatter and grunts across the river. In the morning the group found a partial footprint where the visitors had crossed the riverbank.

On the first night of the 2012 West Virginia expedition, the witness's trail group heard a very loud wood knock. It sounded like a large timber hitting a big oak tree and convinced the witness something unexplained was present.

She shouted and ran toward them, and they fled very rapidly up a hillside out of sight.

The guest and three companions walked into the woods in the Kettle Moraine at night in October. They heard an unfamiliar simian-like sound that none of them recognized. They later checked recordings of native Wisconsin animals and found no match, which prompted talk of Bigfoot.
ATV rider hears an unknown long, brassy howl outside Christiansburg
The witness waited on an ATV in a hollow while her companion walked up a ridge to check a trail camera. She heard a single long horn-like yell from ahead in the same hollow that she did not recognize from local wildlife. Her companion, who was out of sight on the ridge, said he did not hear the sound.

Suspicious figures seen at dawn west of Louisa
The witness was driving a morning bus route past a horse pasture when he noticed two upright, hair-covered figures where he did not expect trees. One figure was standing and the other was kneeling or squatting, both with their backs to the road. He noted brownish hair, pointed heads with no visible neck, and large muscular builds. On a later pass the same morning the field was empty.
Ongoing activity and possible vocalizations recorded near Detroit Metro Airport
The witness claims hearing a loud, deep human-like howl near home for 6-7 years, mostly at night around 1 a.m. and continuing until daybreak, sometimes with a second higher-pitched voice. The sound is described as moving west to east past the house and back, triggering dogs and coyotes, and increasing with heavy plane traffic and hot humid nights. The witness recorded the sounds on a cell phone and suspects the source used the barn in winter.

A group walking back to a cottage late at night on a dirt road through dense woods heard something large paralleling them. They stopped and watched a very tall, light-colored illuminated figure moving in a small circle near a mailbox, heard a short powerful grunt, and then saw reddish eyes watching from the woods. The eyes retreated deeper, dropped low and disappeared while the group returned to the cottage.
