After fishing, the witness sat on the bed of his truck at a parking area above a swamp at night. He watched a dark figure with shining eyes approach to within about 10 yards. After he whistled to announce his presence, the figure stood upright on two legs and retreated while watching him, tripped and got back up, then disappeared behind trees. He left immediately and did not return for some time.

Three people camped on an island area at Keystone Lake and heard repeated grunting and howl-like vocalizations after midnight. After two people kayaked back to the cars and two returned, the two in kayaks had two very large rocks land in the water near them as they approached shore in darkness. One had earlier seen green eyeshine near the campsite on the first return. Finding no other people on the island, they packed up and left during the night.

The witness and two companions were sitting in a drift boat on the river in the evening when they heard loud chimp-like screaming and wailing from dense brush on the opposite cliff. Two people driving over a mountain pass in daylight saw a large hairy biped running diagonally up a hillside toward forest cover. The figure was described as broad, at least seven feet tall, with dark brownish hair, moving fast on two legs with long strides and using an arm to pull on trees. After losing sight of it, they stopped at a creek crossing a mile or two away and felt watched for about an hour before leaving.

The witness and his sister were waiting at a rarely used roadside bus stop before sunrise when they smelled a foul odor and heard low grunting that grew louder and more aggressive. A large dark-brown figure then knocked over a small dead tree across the road and ran toward them. Two identical very tall pale men in black suits and hats came to the hotel asking for the manager. A bell employee and a tour guest spoke with them, noting no facial hair, wig-like hair, large blue eyes, no blinking and a sense they knew thoughts. Security video later showed the pair entering.

On Mother's Day 2009 under bright moonlight, the guest's group of five smelled a foul odor and watched a black mass on all fours swaying 60 yards away. It went behind trees and then stood up, showing arms, shoulders and head silhouetted with shoulder sheen before walking gracefully away. Laser measurement later put the distance at 63 yards with 19-inch weathered prints, suggesting about 9.5 feet tall.

The witness left the blind and saw the same figure moving away through dense vegetation, breaking trees loudly, and both men left the area.

At sunrise the witness and his hunting partner glassed a replanted clearcut for turkeys. They heard a loud snap to the side and watched a tall dark figure move downhill away from them. The figure showed only head, shoulders and upper back above young trees and its steps produced audible thuds while moving in a smooth upright walk.

The witness was sleeping in the back of a pickup at a turkey camp when he woke suddenly with intense fear. He became convinced something was looking through the canopy window at him and aimed his pistol at the glass waiting for contact.
