The witness and two companions were deer hunting when they noted an absence of game and a feeling of being watched. Later near a dried marsh they found widely spaced tracks that turned and appeared to run toward cover, accompanied by a strong foul odor. They left the area for town and returned the next morning to photograph the tracks, when game had returned and the odor was gone.
Daylight Sighting in the Goethe State Forest
The witness and a companion were scouting in a state forest when they noticed a strong foul odor. They saw an upright figure down a trail, watched it kneel in palmettos staring at them for many minutes, then saw it stand and cross the trail followed by a smaller similar figure into dense brush. They later found two footprints larger than the witness's foot.

A couple out fishing and scouting for elk followed animal tracks and noticed a strong bad odor, white coarse hair covering a stump, and very large deep footprints around a wallow leading toward a creek. They estimated the prints were about a day old and also noted scarred trees and broken branches in the area. Frightened by the size and strangeness of the signs, they left and reported the experience right away.

The witness's husband and another adult were sitting with boys camping in the woods on a moonlit night when the husband noticed a figure moving between trees, with moonlight visible between its legs. The group left the woods, and the next day the witness found footprints and poured a mold of one, plus other ground and vegetation signs. The investigator later reported the couple described a seven-foot-tall, wide-shouldered creature with a cone-shaped head and no neck.

The witness was hiking with his wife on a lakeside trail and kneeling to photograph mosses when he noticed a large footprint in soft soil. He photographed it from overhead and with his shoe for scale, but found no other prints due to heavy leaf litter. The witness says a relative called about a footprint in backyard mud. The witness went with a companion, observed a single barefoot-like left print in a small mud patch, recorded dimensions and notes, and made a plaster cast that broke but was glued back together. The witness did not claim the print was from a Sasquatch and noted it was odd to find a barefoot print in winter.

The husband noticed large barefoot-like impressions in mud and shallow water while working near the pond and called his wife to see them. They described three size groupings with five toes and arches, all larger than his shod foot. No photographs were taken and the print area was later underwater.

About a mile from Highway 4 they noticed a line of large deep impressions in the snow on the shoulder and stopped to examine them. The impressions lacked toe detail after melting and freezing, measured about 16 inches long, and formed a straight line with strides of 56 to 60 inches that the witness could not match. The witness photographed the trail and submitted it as a possible track trail.

The witness explored a clearcut in Coos County Forest looking for hiking routes and found a bare footprint larger than his boot with visible toes. After rain washed the area, he returned and found additional larger and smaller impressions with a roughly six-foot stride, and later found similar long impressions on harder ground nearby. On a return visit he also heard repeated short whistle-like sounds receding from the creek area but saw no source.

A commercial fisherman on a multi-day photography trip in remote Alaska found an exceptionally large human-like footprint in gravel and sand. The impression was deeper than nearby bear tracks, showed no claw marks, was documented with a boot for scale, and could be traced for about a hundred feet. He and his companion felt uneasy as if watched but reported no sounds or odors.

The trackway was described as bipedal with a long stride of about five feet and no sign of pausing. The witness and a companion were walking up a remote dirt road at night looking for snowboarding hills when they heard a strange sound and found large bare-foot-like prints with visible toes in the snow. After discussing the prints, which were wider and longer than a 12-inch flashlight with a very long stride, a nearby tree began shaking violently and dropping snow and branches, prompting them to run back to the car and leave.
Tracks and feces found in freshly turned field
While preparing a field for planting, workers found large five-toed tracks and two very large cylindrical feces in a freshly plowed field. The tracks led from a grassy area onto a dirt road, into the field where the maker appeared to squat, dig up and eat turtle eggs, then continued into bordering woods. The reporter photographed the sign with a yardstick, made left and right foot casts, and collected fecal and eggshell samples for examination.
Family members encounter footprint
While hiking with two relatives in the Siuslaw National Forest, the witness was shown a single large footprint in dried mud beside the trail. The print was measured, photographed, and cast, and the surrounding area was searched for additional sign without success. The witness states the origin of the print is undetermined.

The witness and a companion were walking dogs along Redwood Creek in the afternoon and waded across to examine sandbars on the south bank. A short distance upstream they found three large footprints that appeared to enter the water. The clearest print was long and narrow with five toes and no arch, measured at about 14.5 inches with about a 4-foot stride, and no clear exit trail was located.

The witness and companion were hiking in the Franklin Creek area when they found a large footprint by the creek about two miles from the parking lot. They had to leave to return before dark and heavy rain. The creek later flooded and washed the print away.
Campers find a large track
Two companions camping near Index walked down an overgrown disused road to photograph the river. Along the way they noticed small trees broken off high above the ground, then found a single very large right footprint in a soft spot in the road. The print was much larger than the companion's size 10.5 to 11 foot, no other prints showed in the firm soil, and they photographed it for scale.
