Campers find a large track

Two companions camping near Index walked down an overgrown disused road to photograph the river. Along the way they noticed small trees broken off high above the ground, then found a single very large right footprint in a soft spot in the road. The print was much larger than the companion's size 10.5 to 11 foot, no other prints showed in the firm soil, and they photographed it for scale.

Single large right footprint in soft road surface, much larger than companion's foot, with only that print visible. Investigator later compared shape to other large tracks, noted large big-toe pad and toe details, mud push-up, weight shifting, no claw marks, and opined likely genuine.
