Several tracks found near County dump for Bandon
Account
The witness explored a clearcut in Coos County Forest looking for hiking routes and found a bare footprint larger than his boot with visible toes. After rain washed the area, he returned and found additional larger and smaller impressions with a roughly six-foot stride, and later found similar long impressions on harder ground nearby. On a return visit he also heard repeated short whistle-like sounds receding from the creek area but saw no source.

Bare footprint about an inch deep, slightly larger than the witness's boot, with plainly visible toes in soft dirt next to a trunk.
Measurements: about an inch deep; slightly bigger than male size 10 1/2 combat boots
Additional bigger prints and smaller impressions found after rain, with an estimated stride between prints.
Measurements: stride to be about 6 feet between prints
Poorly defined impressions on hard ground with an apparent trail in the direction of travel.
