Local family reports huge tracks near Big Cedar

The witness and a relative visited a roadside site east of Big Cedar after hearing that a road crew found large tracks there. They reported seeing many large tracks that looked real to them and took photographs. Investigators later visited the site and found only two badly weathered impressions.

Many large adult tracks with possible juvenile tracks, later reduced to two weathered right-foot impressions
Measurements: 16 1/2" long and approximately 8" across at the ball of the foot. The stride was measured at 72''.
A relative took photographs of the tracks and the family later gave negatives to investigators to develop
