The witness was bear hunting with two family members near Coal Lake and stopped to examine scat in the road. After taking a rifle from the truck, the witness heard thrashing in the brush below the road that appeared to parallel movement along the road. The source could not be seen, and the witness left feeling uneasy and frightened.

The witness was sleeping alone in a travel trailer on her rural property. At about 2 a.m. she was awakened by four sets of four slow wood knocks coming from four different directions at varying distances, spaced about a minute apart. Later in a quarry area they reported watching a human-like figure in night-vision goggles that crouched when noticed, followed by a rock thrown nearby, after which they left.

After locating cabin evidence the group was eating at camp just after sunset when loud howls and chattering began on a ridge to the west. Additional voices to the south joined until up to five sources called back and forth for several minutes. The guest interpreted it as a conversation directed at or about the group.
Men exploring logging roads hear possible knocks and a branch break near Cinebar
Two people exploring logging roads by jeep stopped to scout a side road on foot. They heard knocking sounds like a stick hitting a tree, then a very loud prolonged cracking like a thick log breaking nearby. They left without seeing any people or vehicles that could explain the noises. A photo taken toward the sounds was later thought to contain something odd but was deemed inconclusive.

In April 2013 the guest took his teenage son camping at a just-opened campground off Highway 14 along the Columbia River. During a daytime walk they found an old large track, opened clam shells out of place, a fresh vine-maple twist tucked behind a fir, an 18-inch footprint beneath it, and several pushed or tossed trees. That night in camp they heard branch-breaking, felt the tarps pulled, heard splashing, felt vibration waves, and heard two wood knocks before leaving exhausted in the morning.

The witness looked and saw a very large hairy upright form crossing a break in the brush with three deer nearby before it disappeared in one step. The witness later marked a limb level with the creature's head, which investigators measured at 8 feet.

The witness and her husband returned home late at night and both heard a loud terrifying shriek the husband recognized from an earlier unfamiliar sound. The witness reports being awakened by similar screams on several later nights. On one recent night screaming woke their young child and was followed by sounds like rocks or tapping at the windows. The witness and a companion were driving at night when headlights illuminated a large hairy figure crossing the road in front of the truck. The figure moved quickly down a steep bank, across the road, and into dense vegetation, disappearing before the witness could exit the vehicle, though crashing sounds were heard afterward. The dog in the vehicle reacted by whimpering and fixating on the woods.

On a November afternoon hunt, the witness heard loud yelling mixed with growls and screams nearby and recorded trees breaking and heavy pounding footsteps approaching. Deer in the area fled as the sounds got closer, and the witness left quickly. Cattle in a nearby pasture were later seen huddled far from the sounds.

Two brothers parked for a late-night talk on a forest road when heavy footsteps surrounded the car on several sides and powerful growls approached the rear. After repositioning the car in moonlight they saw a dark shape shifting in a tree, heard heavy breathing, and watched a very tall muscular dark creature cross the road and peer from behind a stump. A second slender gray creature leapt across the road, the large one dropped to all fours and left, and the brothers later realized hours had passed.

The witness and his older brother went for a drive to get away after family deaths and got turned around on back roads. Something came up to the back of the car, growling repeatedly with heavy breathing like a sick animal. The witness said he saw something he then called a monster and later identified as Sasquatch.

The companion separately reported hearing loud walking in camp that night, and no tracks or disturbance were found in the morning.

The witness was driving home at night on a dark rural road with high beams on when they saw a large hairy creature about 400 feet ahead. The creature strode across the road in a few strides, then stopped mid-stride and looked back toward the witness before moving off to the side. The witness estimated it was very tall and thick-chested with long arms and light brown/tan hair.

The witness and his wife were sitting by a campfire late at night drinking coffee when a strong sulfur-musty odor drifted into camp. A piece of wood then flew into camp and struck their trailer, and after the odor returned a rock was thrown into camp near them. The wife also heard distant screams that evening, and no other people were seen in the immediate area.
