Cabin renters have sighting outside Logan in Wayne National Forest
Ten people renting a cabin heard branch-breaking noises, bangs, sounds like throwing, and strange howls after midnight, along with a foul outdoor odor. Four of the group then saw a large black bipedal figure in a field in front of the cabin that turned and went back into the woods. The group then heard more walking, howls and breaking branches around the cabin and later found a footprint.
Sighting by dog walker and more recent incident on Stone Church Trail (Wayne NF) NW of Shawnee
A couple of days after hearing unexplained howls on an evening hike, the witness stopped on the same trail to let her dog drink. She heard rustling on the ridge above and saw a very large dark-furred bipedal figure walking among trees about 50 yards away. It disappeared over the ridge crest before her husband could look, after being visible for several seconds.
Whoops around 4am by resident bordering Mill Stream Run Reservation
In mid-September 2020 around 5 a.m., the witness was sitting on a tarped patio when rustling was heard behind a shed about 50 feet away. Three chimpanzee-like whoops several seconds apart were then heard, followed by more rustling. The witness went back inside and reports being afraid to go outside in the dark since.
Object throwing near Perrysville, Ohio (2020)
A family of four was camping in the primitive area of a park at night when sticks and possible rocks were thrown from the woods and strange noises were heard. After a loud bang on a nearby wooden outhouse, a witness saw a tall dark hairy figure run into the woods. A responding ranger searched the woods, found no one and no damage, and noted the family were the only campers in that section.
Possible knock heard from Little Miami Bike Trail near Ft. Ancient
The witness was cycling back toward Morrow on the Little Miami Bike Trail when he heard a single loud, crisp knock from atop the hill to the east. He saw no other people on that stretch and found no obvious human or natural source for the sound. He stored the incident without seeing any animal or figure.
Footsteps near Morristown, Ohio (2020)
Two people were night fishing from their truck beside a creek. They heard heavy-sounding bipedal-like footsteps moving on the far bank, followed by single hoot-like calls from two positions and later a loud crashing sound like a tree falling. They stayed a while longer before leaving.
Two witnesses to road crossing Sasquatch, 23 miles south of Columbus, near Stoutsville
A couple driving north at night reported a tall bipedal creature running from the left toward the road. It passed within a few feet of the driver-side window and crossed behind their truck as they traveled at highway speed. They turned around to search with a spotlight and checked again the next morning but found no trace.
Dog walker lady has daylight sighting of a Bigfoot in a nature preserve NW of Coolville
The witness was walking dogs on paths in the woods at dusk when the dogs became alert and a strange kaw-kaw call was heard. The witness then saw a gray, medium-build, roughly seven-foot-tall figure with shiny blue eyes and bent arms that looked at them, shuffled its feet, and turned into the woods toward a ridge. The witness left with the dogs and later reported finding a partial footprint.
Object throwing in Ohio (2019)
The witness and three friends camped in the park in summer 2019 and hiked the towpath trail near the river after dusk. They had sticks then small rocks thrown behind them, smelled a pungent odor, felt watched, and fled. After stopping to rest they heard a loud deep growl and saw a very tall dark-haired humanoid in a weapon-mounted light before it stepped behind an oak and disappeared. They ran to camp, heard disturbances overnight, and in the morning found the campsite strewn about, a food pot missing, and two neat piles of large rocks by the fire pit.
4:45am road crossing sighting of a Sasquatch 18 miles south of Cleveland
Around 4:45 a.m., the witness was driving west to work when headlights illuminated a large dark figure crossing the road a short distance ahead. The figure moved bipedally with swinging arms at a brisk walk and crossed in only a few steps before entering the woods. Because of its great height and width, the witness judged it was not a human.

The witness took a dog outside in the early morning and the dog became frightened and pulled back to the house, then stared at the door. The next morning the witness searched the snowy backyard and found many unusual tracks similar to ones seen the prior year. The witness recorded the tracks with video and photos before asking someone else to examine them.
Homeowner across the street from East Fork State Park (30mi SE of Cincinnati) describes possible encounter at night
Late at night the witness was alerted by his dog barking intensely at the woods across the street. He shone a flashlight and saw blinking eyeshine high up, which a family member dismissed as an owl. After firing a BB gun toward the light, he heard something crash quickly through dense undergrowth to the left while the dog ran to keep pace and kept staring at the spot where the movement stopped.

Around 1 a.m. in mid-September 2017 the witness was outside at home with a small dog when a very loud scream likened to a woman in trouble was heard from the wooded hollow below the house. A larger dog in the yard reacted by immediately wanting to go inside. The witness went back inside without further investigation.
Couple is startled by a quick "road crosser" at dark just outside of Howard
The witness was driving with a companion at about 6:30 p.m. in darkness when both saw a dark human-like figure sprint across the road from north to south in the headlights. The driver saw two humanoid legs and a tall body covering the road in about three fast strides before it disappeared, while the companion saw only a shadowy figure. They did not stop, and the oncoming car was seen braking.
Sasquatch sighting near Trumbull County (2017)
The witness walked her husband out the back door on a moonlit night and saw a very black side-view silhouette glide across the white siding of a neighboring building. Only the upper body from bicep up was visible on the second story, showing heavy musculature and a protruding brow. After her husband drove away with lights showing nothing, she went inside and locked the door.
Daytime road crossing on State Route 19 just outside of Fremont
The witness was driving south with his wife on a clear afternoon when they saw a tall, hairy biped cross the road ahead of them from a field into woods. They watched it continuously as they approached, noting its long arms, long strides, and large size. After it disappeared over a guardrail into a steep wooded ravine, they stopped but could not relocate it.
Possible track found and cast off a trail near Hocking River
A couple hiking in a wooded nature preserve stepped aside for other hikers and noticed a large footprint off the trail. They photographed it and continued on. A short distance farther they found a small tree freshly broken in half and bent down, which they found odd given its proximity to the print.

The witness was hiking a loop trail in a nature preserve in the afternoon. After hearing something large move away through the woods, the witness noticed a single large footprint on the hard trail surface and photographed it. A loud crash in the trees overhead then frightened the witness, who left the area quickly.
Strange occurrences at a rural cabin near West Union causes owner to put it up for sale
A couple staying overnight on the screened porch of a wooded cabin report two nights of disturbance in June 2017. The first night included talk-like and giggling sounds followed by an hour of limbs breaking all around them. The second night something vocalized loudly near the creek, rushed toward the cabin causing felt impacts, then ran off breaking wood. The next morning they found widespread broken limbs and a snapped tree but no footprints, and did not return.

The witness was fly fishing with five friends in the evening when the group heard a snap from across the river. The witness claims a tall creature stood up, growled, and trees fell as the group fled to their truck, then saw the creature walking in front of the gravel road watching them. The group later returned and reported finding tracks, broken trees and unusual intertwined structures.
