Possible track lines and vocalizations found in a rural neighborhood outside St. Clairsville
Account
Around 1 a.m. in mid-September 2017 the witness was outside at home with a small dog when a very loud scream likened to a woman in trouble was heard from the wooded hollow below the house. A larger dog in the yard reacted by immediately wanting to go inside. The witness went back inside without further investigation.

Investigators met the witness in February 2018, compared the heard howls to reference recordings, walked the track and listening area, and noted possible remnants were uncastable after heavy rain.
