The witness and his partner walked upriver in the middle of the day past a steep thick hillside. Very close by they heard extremely loud rapid whacks like a large healthy tree cracking instantly. The forest was otherwise quiet and they were terrified.

Early in his prospecting time, the witness repeatedly used a remote river trail out of Colfax. One day he found healthy trees broken across the trail at a congruent height. He found it strange but did not attribute it at the time.

With companions present on a dark forest road, the witness verbally asked the subjects for a memorable display before a move. Within seconds multiple large trees snapped and one was pushed over by the roots nearby, then a hung tree shook violently with a dark shape visible high up before cracking. A lightning flash then revealed five large figures standing shoulder to shoulder across the road, seen by multiple witnesses.

While camping with several companions, the witness hid a recorder near food gifts and left it overnight. Playback revealed approaching footsteps, tapping on the device, two voice-like exchanges expressing displeasure, and a branch being ripped and knocked loudly, which the group had also heard live from camp. The witness stopped using recorders afterward believing the subjects disliked equipment.

During the same Missouri stay, the guest repeatedly heard loud tree knocks in the middle of the day while working outside, sometimes followed by a branch breaking. At the time she rationalized the sounds as deer. Only after the later growl did she reinterpret them as possible Bigfoot activity.

In a very hard-to-access area where the possible photo was taken, the witness found about a dozen healthy hurricane-resistant palm trees snapped at ninety degrees. He saw no saw or tool marks and suspected the beings did it.
Vocalization in Indiana
On a ten-mile hike the witness stopped to film a strange structure where a tree had been pulled out, moved three feet and wedged into another tree with a cross piece. He then heard a deep man-like grunt nearby and left the area.

Walking the enclosed railroad tracks to the refuge, the witness found a five-foot bone pile she called the boneyard with raccoon, collared dogs, cat, cranes, possums, reptiles and about thirty turtle shells against an embankment. On the way back they heard heavy running thumps, then twice something hit trees so hard leaves flew and whole 20-30 foot oak and maple trees came down, seeming to chase them.

On a sunny windless afternoon the witness walked her leashed dog toward the creek and heard a whoo answered back. A forty-foot tree fifteen feet away began shaking violently with cracking sounds while no other trees moved, crows flew out screaming, and the tree fell toward her. She dragged her 130-pound dog and bad knee out of the way and took pictures.

The day after discussing photographing but not entering a cave on their property, the witness and her husband noticed a large tree directly in front of the cave opening with its top freshly twisted in a spiral while surrounding trees were undamaged. She photographed the tree and cave opening in winter.

While sitting by the same creek near Old Hickson Park at night with a lantern, the group heard loud running booms. Saplings about eight to ten inches round were pushed over as something moved through. Similar prints were found in sandy flooded areas and splashing was heard.
Unidentified sound near Elm Grove, West Virginia
The guest walked to the middle of a bridge over a creek and heard a very loud bullfrog-like sound. Something huge crashed through weeds and under the bridge, ripping trees, then pounded the iron under the bridge on both sides. Frozen with fear, he later walked to a church and sat for an hour.
Whoop in Oregon
Over several night visits during an active ridge fire the guest whooped and within seconds large Douglas firs outside the burn crashed down. He exchanged whoops for up to forty-five minutes, captured video audio of one fall, and brought companions who were startled. On a later dark visit with a dog present the animal became anxious, tree knocks and loud stomping steps were heard, owls called from multiple directions, and activity later faded with rain.
Sasquatch sighting in Utah
The witness hung tree stands with a companion then went alone to check a trail camera in a beaver-pond draw. He heard elk sounds, saw a large black figure partially hidden in pines, then watched it through binoculars apparently opening its mouth before the elk sound followed. As he tried to film, a tree fell close behind him and he felt something behind him, then hurried back to camp just before a severe storm hit.
Property disturbance in Oregon
A work crew camped alone in a closed campground returned to find vehicle doors open and an axe missing. Overnight the narrator heard trickling, movement, and loud bipedal running that veered from his tent. A companion was growled at chest-deep, and a nearby log was found shredded the next morning, prompting them to leave.

The following winter-spring the witness saw a pine tree lodged in a hardwood tree near the sighting road. It sat about head-high, balanced rather than jammed, and pointed toward water and the woods where he had seen the creature. He photographed it and felt it was placed as a marker.
