Tree break near Newport, Tennessee
Account
Walking the enclosed railroad tracks to the refuge, the witness found a five-foot bone pile she called the boneyard with raccoon, collared dogs, cat, cranes, possums, reptiles and about thirty turtle shells against an embankment. On the way back they heard heavy running thumps, then twice something hit trees so hard leaves flew and whole 20-30 foot oak and maple trees came down, seeming to chase them.
