Account
While her husband was gone overnight, the witness heard stomping outside the front door and her service dog growled with hair raised. She watched the doorknob turn back and forth with a clicking sound like checking a lock. When she thought about getting her gun, she heard a slow precise thought-voice in her head saying it would do no good, then she prayed aloud and it went deafening quiet.
