The witness hiked into Great Swamp to search for bigfoot evidence. Off a side path, the witness found a young tree snapped at about six feet high and a small woven-looking stick formation nearby. Nothing else unusual was found.

The witness and her husband took two nieces to wade at a swimming hole under a railroad bridge. While the husband explored the wooded edge alone, he heard whisper-like voices and mirrored footsteps that left him uneasy. As he rejoined the group and recounted the experience, a large limb flew from the trees into the water, followed by a loud splash and grunt from the same area. The group apologized, left tobacco, and departed without investigating further because of the children.

Three companions were walking a little-used logging trail north of North Bay near dusk when they found two barefoot-like half prints at the edge of a large puddle. The prints were described as human-like with five toes but about twice the width of the witness's own foot, with no other tracks around. Earlier on the same walk they had seen a small healthy tree snapped off high above the ground, and afterward they noticed bent trees that resembled a sleeping spot, though they discounted both.
Man sees an upright creature jump across wooded trail
A couple walking on a gated two-track trail near the Trinity River at dusk claimed a rusty-red upright figure about six feet tall leapt across the trail about 40 yards ahead and disappeared into the woods in under a second. They ran to the crossing point and reported hearing it continue running through the woods, flushing birds, and the primary witness smelled a strong musky odor. They found no tracks but noted a clump of freshly uprooted trees nearby.

The witness and companions cut through dense brambles off trail and broke into a large interwoven tunnel system running for thousands of meters. The tunnels opened into a large bowl-shaped crater whose floor was covered with thousands of old and fresh animal bones, including deer, bear and moose skulls with gnaw marks. Frightened and unable to tell which tunnel they entered by, they hacked straight out to the trail and returned to the cottage.

After glimpsing brown fur duck behind a log, the witness heard an extremely loud low roar-like yell from behind with crashing, then heard crashing and throwing sounds staying out of sight while leaving for about 200 yards. No full animal was clearly seen.

They found a concealed woven tunnel of undergrowth leading to a domed chamber and entered it but found no evidence or odor. After a rock was thrown toward the unseen sounds, something shrieked, circled the camp and emitted a loud high-pitched scream, prompting them to leave and later return with a parent. The primary witness heard noises again overnight, and the next morning the group found large footprints, hair and a bedding area before the primary witness briefly saw a tall hair-covered upright creature that looked at him and ran away.

A solo hunter hiked about six miles up a creek to the base of a mountain and noticed the woods had gone completely still and silent. He pushed through brush into a hard-packed oblong clearing strewn with hundreds of animal bones and found a camouflaged jacket still wrapped around human skeletal remains with the face crushed inward. He reported the find to local authorities with a business card found in a pocket and says he gave up deep-woods hunting and sold his rifles.

Three researchers camped in a remote timbered drainage in early August 1998 to study suspected sasquatch activity. The guest and three companions visited the quarry caretaker and walked toward the quarry pond. After smelling a musky odor and finding a large nesting area, they saw a female creature sitting by a berry bush that stood and quickly left into the woods. They tracked snapping sounds and heavy breathing with amplified equipment for over an hour until the sounds stopped near a clear-cut.
