A solo hunter hiked about six miles up a creek to the base of a mountain and noticed the woods had gone completely still and silent. He pushed through brush into a hard-packed oblong clearing strewn with hundreds of animal bones and found a camouflaged jacket still wrapped around human skeletal remains with the face crushed inward. He reported the find to local authorities with a business card found in a pocket and says he gave up deep-woods hunting and sold his rifles.
