A family was camped by their camper in daylight when a loud wood knock came from the treeline about 50 yards away. All family members turned toward the sound, and their leashed dog growled and stared toward the trees while trying to scent the source. After about 15 minutes they dismissed the incident.

Rocks were thrown into camp, and at night something bipedal walked around and brushed the tent while making sniffing sounds at the seams. The activity continued over several days with more distant knocks that seemed to approach, another large rock landing near the witness, and an ice chest found opened.

The witness and a relative visited a roadside site east of Big Cedar after hearing that a road crew found large tracks there. They reported seeing many large tracks that looked real to them and took photographs. Investigators later visited the site and found only two badly weathered impressions.

The witness and companions traveled to southeastern Oklahoma to search for evidence in a reported hotspot. After an uneventful overnight patrol, the witness and one companion discovered three clear footprints and a possible fourth on a steep uphill road at midday. They estimated the prints at over sixteen inches long with a stride of nearly five and a half feet uphill, photographed them with dollar bills for scale, and did not make casts or precise measurements.

The witness was fishing downstream from family members when he briefly saw the lower legs of a dark figure stepping from the creek onto the bank and into dense brush. He searched the spot and found wet marks on rocks, disturbed soil, and dung, which companions helped videotape. He concluded the figure was unlikely to be human given the remote, rugged terrain.

Late at night while photographing on the porch, the witness felt watched then heard a single grunt like a pig and horse combined near trees, later heard again behind her brother's house. Chickens were frightened with one laying prematurely, dogs barked, and her brother came out with a light and firearm. Around the same period a newly nailed chicken-pen roof was ripped back, mulch buckets were moved without spilling, finger-like swipes appeared in a bucket, and she often felt watched near the barn and swing set.

The guest sat on the porch at night with two family members and watched four sets of red eyes in the northern tree line for about two hours. No body shapes could be made out, only eyes blinking and heads turning. The next day feathers were found where the eyes had been, and a neighbor reported missing birds.
