The witness was driving slowly at night when she saw about ten wild pigs feeding near the road and a large dark hairy figure crouched beside a boulder behind them watching the pigs. She watched it for about a minute before driving on. She turned around a few minutes later to look again, but the figure was gone.
Possible activity at a rural home recently vacant west of Wichita
The witness was working in a crawl space beneath a house in daylight when he noticed movement outside. On the last occasion he saw the back of a dark lower leg and foot about 30 feet away moving silently out of view. He described the figure as human-like and estimated its height at eight feet or more.

The witness was in bed late at night when barking dogs prompted them to go outside. They saw a dog run under the porch and something retreat into the woods. The witness ran inside, then returned with a flashlight to find twisted vegetation and snapped branches and noted a foul smell.

The witness was alone hunting deer from an elevated stand before sunrise when a strong musty odor grew stronger. He then noticed a tall, hairy biped partly concealed behind a large tree about 25 yards away, swaying from side to side and making short low grunts. After he glanced away to reach for his scoped gun he heard it moving through the woods, and when he looked back it had disappeared.

Two people bow hunting in swampy woods heard distant knocking and noticed trees shaking. While on a small hill they both saw a large reddish-brown animal crouched behind a large stump at too great a distance for details. They then left the woods.

Four friends camped overnight near a river. After a distant yelp, a companion reported seeing a large shape by the river that could not be made out in the dark. Later the two awake witnesses heard a loud knock on a tree near camp and then bipedal footsteps circling the tent, including contact brushing the tent, before the sounds moved away. A daylight check found no tracks.

The witness was driving to collect her husband after he hit an alligator and disabled his car. As she slowed at sunrise to photograph the carcass, she noticed a dark figure about a block away moving away from the road into the woods. She first thought it was a ranch hand but later interpreted it as a possible Skunk Ape drawn to the roadkill.

Late at night on July 4 the witness's family was setting off fireworks in the yard when a companion noticed movement and a dark shape nearby. All present then heard a very low deep growl unlike anything they had heard before. The source then moved away crashing into the woods, and a search with flashlights found nothing.

Late one night in June, the witness walked to a camping trailer to use the bathroom and noticed a tall upright figure moving nearby. He saw a very tall dark figure standing behind his SUV at the garage entrance for a few seconds before running back inside for a gun. He and a relative searched the yard and found no one, but noticed several very large wet footprints on the concrete with a wide stride.

About 2.5 years before the report, a 4.5-year-old boy was riding in a van with his mother and grandmother while the family looked for firewood near Bowser. Looking out the open door toward a clearcut bordered by alders, the boy saw a tall upright brown-black animal emerge, take several steps, pause to look at the van, then return to cover. He described it as walking on two legs and swinging its arms, seeing it from the waist up.

A large black hairy figure standing a short distance beyond the rabbit fled rapidly downhill through the woods, making loud noise. The witness was driving home from work at night when headlights illuminated a huge hairy figure standing at the road edge. The figure remained stationary while the witness felt frightened and sped past, then saw in the mirror that it was gone. The witness later revisited the rural farm area in daylight and noted only fields and a low hedgerow.

The witness was doing senior photos at a lake with two companions when rocks were repeatedly thrown into the water from across the lake, accompanied by tree knocks and limb breaking. The group took burst photos toward the sounds and then left the area. At home the witness found what he believed to be a black orangutan-faced figure holding a white object in two of the photos, plus a possible smaller shape in a tree.

The witness and a companion were sleeping in their vehicle at a forest campsite. During the night they heard something rubbing against the vehicle, knocking items over, and rummaging around camp, including toppling chairs and a canopy. The companion, while lying down, reported seeing a tall black shape pass the window and leave away from roads. In the morning the chairs were overturned and the canopy was found upside down about 20 feet away, with otherwise little disturbance and no clear prints.

The witness was driving west on a mountain highway in late morning in a line of four vehicles. The witness reported seeing a large black bipedal figure hurry across the highway from right to left well ahead, then go through the ditch and up a steep slope. The group noticed a strange odor, heard persistent movement and muffled grunts, and watched something peeping from behind a tree. Later a skinned rabbit hung high in a tree disappeared, bare footprints larger than the workers feet were found in mud by a creek, and loud limb-breaking sounds caused the whole crew to flee.
