The witness was driving west on a mountain highway in late morning in a line of four vehicles. The witness reported seeing a large black bipedal figure hurry across the highway from right to left well ahead, then go through the ditch and up a steep slope. The witness continued west, then returned to look for traces along the roadside but found the bush too thick to search.
