The witness was driving home from work at night when headlights illuminated a huge hairy figure standing at the road edge. The figure remained stationary while the witness felt frightened and sped past, then saw in the mirror that it was gone. The witness later revisited the rural farm area in daylight and noted only fields and a low hedgerow.
