The witness and her husband were hunting in a clear-cut next to timber in the morning when they heard two loud human-like screams from the stand of trees. Both heard the second scream very close by. The witness associated the sound with Bigfoot vocalizations she had heard in documentaries and said neither she nor her husband had ever heard anything like it.

The witness was outside a remote cottage watching a total lunar eclipse late at night when two extremely loud scream-like howls were heard at very close range. On the second day knocking again preceded arrival at a clearing, where the witness heard a snort-like sound near rocks and had several stones thrown overhead until a rifle was assembled, after which the forest went quiet.

Late at night she and her daughter heard heavy footsteps and a quiet grunt or growl near their tent, initially mistaking it for her husband. Much later she and two other adult women in separate tents were awakened by a single loud whoop-like cry, while her daughter heard a mechanical sound but not the cry.

One heard it twice and the other heard it four times, and they disagreed about the direction it came from. Their dog acted nervous during the sounds and then settled. The witness ran back to camp, injuring an ankle, and noted the behavior and sound differed from prior bear encounters.

The sounds were estimated at 1 to 2 miles away, with the final two sounding pained and different from the rest. The witness felt the sounds matched no known Arizona wildlife and later found them similar to recorded Bigfoot vocalizations.

Two hunters walking on an old logging road just before dark heard a very loud breathy yell and a stick-like strike from dense brush about 50 feet away. Over about an hour they heard dozens of repeated yells, each followed by one or two knocks, and saw no other people in the area. They returned to their hunting spots with rifles loaded and later thought the sounds matched yelling and wood knocking shown on a Bigfoot television program.

After the dog returned frightened and stayed close, the pair tried to walk out in darkness with failing lights. For an hour or two they heard something large circling them with heavy footfalls and crashing vegetation and small trees breaking nearby, but they never saw the source.

The witness was bow hunting and walking a fire trail near dark when he found a large human-shaped footprint and photographed it and the surrounding woods. While photographing he noticed a strong layered odor of sour sweat, decaying flesh and musk. After walking back to his truck after dark, something growled at close range for 1-2 seconds, but a flashlight search revealed nothing and he left to develop the film.

About four hundred yards along the exit trail the group found a dead grouse placed in the middle of the trail with wings tucked, still slightly warm, interpreted as a fresh placement similar to an earlier find.

The witness parked her truck near Lake Oroville before sunrise to photograph valley lights. While sitting with the driver window down, she heard a loud angry roar that rapidly approached from behind and stopped at the rear passenger side of the truck. She saw nothing in the darkness and drove away frightened.
Possible red eyeshine in woods near Garrison, New York
The witness drove late to a job site to retrieve a bobcat loader with a dump truck and trailer. While loading, he noticed a skunk-like smell and then saw red eyes watching from down the road, appearing taller than six feet. After moving the truck he saw the same eyes again about 30 feet into the woods at roughly his eye level from the cab. He maneuvered to turn the truck around and drove away quickly without looking back for several miles.
