The witness was driving to an early-morning shift when she slowed for a large dark figure beside the road. The figure was crouched on two legs at the brush line, appearing to peer through the brush toward deer while glancing at the headlights. After a few seconds it rose, moved in a stooped posture down toward a creek, and went out of sight.

The guest retreated to the truck, watched the being walk away showing a rounded head and muscular build, then left quickly, later resigning the route.

A very tall dark bipedal creature crossed the road about 40 yards ahead of the vehicle in a few large steps, swinging its long arms. The witness estimated its height at 7 to 8 feet and said it was not a deer, bear, or human. Two other adults and a baby were in the car but were facing each other and did not see the figure.

The witness stopped the truck to look and listen but the creature was out of sight and nothing was heard.
