Vocalization in Oregon
Account
Around 2:30 a.m. while tent-camping at the lake, the witness heard loud deep mumbling close in the timber that sounded like attempted speech. A second similar voice answered from across the lake and they exchanged back and forth for several minutes. In the morning something on the far side made loud chimpanzee-like screaming after elk bugles and coyotes.
