While driving alone with a passenger in deep snow with no other vehicles or animal tracks around, the witness saw a figure by the timbered roadside that left the road. He stopped and found large bare human-like footprints coming from a rockslide, stepping through his tire ruts, then two long jumps into dark timber. The passenger was frightened by the tracks.
