Account
After watching a very large bear that fled the timber and a second bear that climbed an old-growth tree in panic, the witness glimpsed a dark hairy figure crossing a low opening. He shot the treed bear, and immediately heard extremely loud screaming moving down to and along the creek for a half-mile until it faded. The shot bear was found dead where it fell.
