At a mining camp with about twenty miners, the witness woke around 4:20 to use the bathroom with his young hound. He heard loud cracks moving from a cliff down toward tents and warned two companions. Something stood within five feet of his tent for about four minutes breathing heavily like an asthmatic person, then left tracks visible in tall grass the next morning.
