Two companions were camping by a slough around 1 a.m. when loud whooping and moaning calls were heard from about 30 feet behind them and then repeated louder and closer. Their small dog cowered in the tent and stayed silent. They fled in their vehicle leaving gear behind, and the next day found the tent open, food missing, bedding disturbed, and a large unidentified footprint nearby.

A small reddish-brown hair-covered biped leaped across the road in mid-air directly in front of the truck, nearly being hit. The witness and a companion were night fishing for bass around an island. They heard several loud splashes from rocks hitting near the boat and then saw a huge upright figure in shadows on the ridge that growled. The figure tore a large limb from a pine and carried it down toward them as they motored away, and they returned at daylight to examine and measure the limb.

The witness was camped alone beside the Buffalo River on a solo turkey hunt. At about 4:30 a.m. while eating breakfast at camp, the witness heard a loud whoop-like call from the mountainside to the southwest, followed within two seconds by an even louder similar call from across the river to the northwest. The witness judged the second sound was not an echo and interpreted the two calls as two Sasquatches communicating from roughly one-quarter to one-third mile away.

On a clear cool morning the witness stood on his property after hearing dogs bark and watched a large dark hairy animal moving east along a fence row about 50 yards away. He saw only the upper body in left-side view for 2-3 seconds as it trotted briskly without bobbing, comparing its size to a very tall heavy man. He later searched for tracks but found none because the ground was too brushy.

Horses were heard bolting nearby and the witness's dog barked toward the woods while a faint zoo-like odor was smelled. They heard repeated whoop-like vocalizations followed by loud wood-on-wood knocking from a wooded area behind a hill that blocked their view. The sounds lasted about ten minutes, after which fish began biting. The witness later said the sounds matched examples of alleged vocalizations and knocks heard online.

As they approached, the figure stood upright in the middle of the road, appearing taller than the car, muscular and covered in dirty white-gray hair, then froze as the vehicle passed. When the witness checked the mirrors immediately after passing, the figure was gone.

After turning on the headlights, the witness saw a tall hairy creature standing in the road about 30 yards away staring at them. After about a minute the creature walked into the adjacent woods with long strides. The witness returned the next day but found no usable tracks.

At a gravel area on the edge of the creek the witness found several small round prints and a much larger human-foot-shaped impression at the water's edge. The witness did not photograph the large impression and later could not find a logical explanation for it.
