Account
Two people were sitting on the tailgate of a parked truck on a vacant road at dusk when the reporting witness went to the cab for a phone and saw a small dark hairy biped about 15 yards away. The entity ran across the road from left to right in a few seconds, paused without looking, then entered the woods while making running noise heard by both people. The pair waited in the truck in fear for several minutes before driving away.

An investigator visited the roadside site for over an hour, measured the crossing distance, and found only deer, coyote-like, shoe and vehicle traces with no tracks attributed to the entity.
The witness returned the next day to search the crossing area and creek bank and reported finding only deer tracks.
