Fisherman finds footprint near Witts Springs

The witness was hiking alone downstream from a primitive campground to look at fishing streams. At a gravel area on the edge of the creek the witness found several small round prints and a much larger human-foot-shaped impression at the water's edge. The witness did not photograph the large impression and later could not find a logical explanation for it.

Large human-foot-shaped impression at the water's edge near a group of smaller round prints
Measurements: 18 inches or more long; about 4 inches deep and full of water
Same large footprint described in follow-up as lacking fine detail but with sharp edges
Measurements: about eighteen inches long and seven inches wide
An investigator spoke with the witness by phone and noted additional size and edge detail for the footprint.
