The witness and a companion were riding an ATV along a river at dusk. The witness noticed movement across the river about 75 yards away and saw a reddish-orange quadrupedal animal with a pale face that looked toward him before climbing over a downed treetop and disappearing. He tried to film it but captured only the shaking branch. Deer on the witnesses' side of the river would not cross the water.
Motorist sees hairy biped crossing road by Cuyahoga Valley National Park
The witness was driving east on Sagamore Road on a hot late morning. A dark brown or black figure emerged from the right and crossed the road and adjacent open area in three strides before disappearing. The witness noted its forearms held high, a silver-gray flash near the forearm and head, a stocky build, and height well over six feet. The witness concluded it was not a jogger because of its dark coloration in heat, inhuman speed, stride length, and thicker arms.
Truck driver has late afternoon encounter while dumping stone
The witness was turning a dump truck and spreading stone on a remote camp road when he noticed an animal on a stone pile that stood on two legs and then vanished. After adjusting his chains and driving forward, he saw two upright, hairy animals pacing the truck in his mirror, with the larger one estimated at eight to nine feet tall. He was frightened and left the area quickly. He also noted a feeling of being watched and a nasty smell earlier while outside the truck.

Five occupants of a van driving on Route 301 in South Carolina late at night encountered a tall black hairy biped crossing the road. The driver swerved and braked to avoid a collision as the animal paused, looked toward the vehicle, then hurried across. When the occupants looked back, it was gone.
Daytime sighting near Canton on State Route 164
The witness was driving to work in the morning while watching for deer. From the road the witness saw a tall black-haired figure standing at the edge of the woods in a creek bottom area watching the vehicle pass. The witness slowed but did not stop, and the figure remained standing without acting aggressive. The witness has watched for it since but has not seen it again.
Long-duration daylight sighting (distant) on Moscow Mountain
Two companions resting on a high rock overlook watched a large dark biped and a smaller blonde biped moving below in a clear-cut and on a fire road. Over about 20 minutes the figures foraged, interacted closely, and walked erect toward and past the observers before disappearing behind trees. Later the same day the witnesses returned to the spot and reported crushed grass, long stride impressions, and large and small bare footprints.

The witness was staying at a cabin near Lake Mary and took two dogs for a night walk. The dogs began growling and pulling toward sounds of rustling leaves and breaking branches. The witness shone a flashlight and saw a huge ape-like but human-built figure about 200 feet away watching and swaying between trees. After a minute or two the figure turned and walked away, and the witness hurried back to the cabin.

Late at night the witness sat on an open windowsill at home next to wetlands and watched a large dark figure emerge from vegetation on a hill. The figure walked bipedally down the hill, across the flat yard, and into the swamp without stopping or looking around. The witness heard twigs crunching underfoot but could not see detailed features in the moonlight.

The witness and two young companions were fishing on a private wooded property around noon. When the witness approached palmettos to check a noise, he saw eyes, heard a growl, and watched the creature stand to about nine feet tall. The group fled and returned hours later to find food and fish missing, poles scattered, and their shirts draped high in a live oak.

Three people parked near a bend in a road to look at the spot of an earlier sighting. They watched a large silhouette leaning against a tree that slowly raised an arm toward its face and later disappeared, while a smaller fur-covered figure was seen walking in the open and then running when approached on foot. The larger figure was also reported to turn its head to watch a passing truck.
Early morning sighting by a trucker on Othello Road
A tractor-trailer driver who had overnighted in a parking lot drove east past campgrounds around 5 a.m. He noticed a very tall figure walking away from him on the road, which stepped into the ditch, stopped, and turned to stare at him. The figure was hair-covered with a bare dark face and glaring eyes, then turned and strolled away as the truck approached. The driver did not stop.

Two people driving east on US 41 to go fishing reported seeing a creature about 50 yards north of the road. The creature turned, took three steps, and knelt down in the grass with its head still visible. The witnesses estimated it was about eight feet tall, and after turning around for another look they did not see it again.
A young man hears vocals and has a sighting north of Malvern
The witness heard a deep howling sound near livestock pens after leaving a relative's farmhouse, then drove down the hill beside the house. In high-beam headlights the witness saw a large, dark-brown, hairy biped jump from an embankment and cross the rural road in a few steps without looking at the vehicle. The animal disappeared into a field on the other side, and the witness returned home agitated and called to warn the household to lock doors.

Two people were sitting on the tailgate of a parked truck on a vacant road at dusk when the reporting witness went to the cab for a phone and saw a small dark hairy biped about 15 yards away. The entity ran across the road from left to right in a few seconds, paused without looking, then entered the woods while making running noise heard by both people. The pair waited in the truck in fear for several minutes before driving away.

The witness was alone at a riverside base camp in the afternoon when she saw two dark, slender bipedal figures walking on the opposite river trail around a bend. When she reached the riverbank moments later they had vanished with no place to hide except a steep vegetated canyon wall. A radio check confirmed the hiking group had not passed anyone, and when group members later stood at the same spot they looked much smaller and bulkier than the figures.

The witness was driving toward Edmonton with a relative passenger in late morning drizzle when a chimp-sized brown animal emerged from roadside brush. It crossed open ground and the divided highway from right to left in front of the vehicle and disappeared into brush on the far side, observed in profile running on all fours. The witness emphasized folded hands rather than bear paws, a small head with no snout, no visible ears or tail, and speed greater than a bear cub, and questioned whether it could have been a young sasquatch.

The witness was with relatives and friends on a back deck in late afternoon when the group watched a grey ape-like figure sitting on a hillside rock about 100 yards away. After a BB gun was fired toward it, the creature turned toward the group, then climbed a steep rock face hand-over-hand and walked bipedally over a ridge out of sight. No vocalizations were heard and facial features could not be distinguished at the distance.

In April 2005 the witness was looking out a doctor's office window toward a rock cliff when he saw a tall, thin brown creature. The creature walked slumped over on two legs, moving three times between the cliff edge and the treeline before disappearing. A second person in the office also saw it, but it was gone before others could be shown it.

The witness was driving home with a companion at night when headlights revealed eye-shine ahead. As the car got closer he saw a dark, furry biped with human-like limbs standing by the road. The creature used a hand on a barbed-wire fence to jump it from a standing start and disappeared into a field. The driver stopped and looked but saw nothing further, and found only a loose fence post the next day.

The witness was driving north on Highway 101 at dusk with high beams on when a huge black figure came down a rocky cliff. The figure crossed the road in seconds with a purposeful stride without looking at the witness and entered the woods on the other side. The witness estimated it at about nine feet tall and described feeling shocked and fearful.
