The witness was fishing downstream from family members when he briefly saw the lower legs of a dark figure stepping from the creek onto the bank and into dense brush. The witness and a coworker were driving when a tall hairy biped carrying an animal carcass over its shoulder crossed the road ahead of them from east to west during a rain squall. The crossing lasted only a few seconds before the creature disappeared into a creek bed. The next day they found partial footprints along the creek bank but lost the trail in dense undergrowth.

After the fire died the witness lay in the tent and heard loud breathing approach, stop behind the tent blocking moonlight, shuffle the cooler, then sniff at his head. He yelled and hit the tent, after which it urinated on the tent, hollered loudly and left breaking and twisting high pine branches. Next morning he found large compressed impressions and damaged branches.

While deer hunting from a tree stand in the morning, the witness was approached by a companion who was pale and frightened and said something had stalked him aggressively and emitted a terrifying yell. The two investigated together and reported finding trees snapped off high above the ground and deep elongated impressions in dry ground, which they followed for two miles into dense foliage. The witness adds that he was stalked himself the next day.

After crossing a fence they watched a tall hairy biped step over the fence and move between trees to watch them before heading toward a creek. About an hour later the witness returned with older female relatives and saw a different-colored hairy leg and foot watching them from behind trees near the road.

The witness's father and two companions were cooking steaks at a deer camp after dark when something approached loudly, yelled and screamed aggressively, ripped branches and felled a pine tree near them. They abandoned gear except guns and drove away, returning days later with more people to find the camp destroyed, tent shredded, fire grate bent, rocks scattered, and large tracks throughout.

The two men grabbed a rifle, followed on foot to a line of cedar and bow-dart trees, and watched it drop down a creek bank without crossing to the other side. They found a large twisted heel-weighted impression in soft wet ground much larger than the guest's boot.

At age 15 the guest was fishing alone at a creek near his father's house when he heard whoops and saw a large hairy figure behind a sycamore. He confronted it with a .22 rifle, and after it growled and roared he shot it in the throat, then in the hand, then multiple times in the chest as it screamed, broke saplings, and ran straight through a barbed-wire fence across a hay meadow. Later that day his father found broken trees, blood and hair on the sycamore, and blood and hair on the broken fence wires.
