Two people walking to a swamp for duck hunting in the Tuskegee National Forest saw a tall dark bipedal figure crossing a beaver dam. The figure was described as black from head to toe and moving quickly toward the woods, apparently carrying a large object, without acknowledging them. They watched for about 20 seconds from about 120-130 yards away and then ended the hunt.

The witness and her husband were sitting in their parked car at an overgrown abandoned graveyard at night. She heard branches breaking, felt watched, and noticed a foul odor, then watched a very tall bulky figure standing between pines and swaying side to side for several minutes before leaving. Her companion in the passenger seat did not see the figure, reportedly because of dashboard light glare.

The witness was working on a fence near the barn after dark when she heard a disturbance in the nearby woods that sounded like a deer being caught. About half an hour later she heard a loud powerful hollering howl from the woods, then heard it again from the area of the first noise as she prepared to leave. Frightened, she backed an ATV to the house and went inside, hearing nothing further when she returned outside with her husband. She believes the sound matched Bigfoot vocalizations she had heard on television and felt it could not have come from familiar local animals.

A group of six campers sitting around a campfire at night heard strange low and high-pitched sounds approaching through the woods. They scanned with a powerful spotlight and saw a hairy upright figure partly hidden behind a tree about 20-30 yards away, with yellow eye glow. A large hair-covered biped stepped out of the treeline across a logging road and stared at them without moving or making noise. After a brief stare the creature stepped back into the woods and the witnesses fled and have avoided hunting deep in that area since.

The witness describes recurring strange noises around the family home shared with parents, including window banging, howls around dusk, growls, moans, grunts and rocks striking the house. Tracks and feces found in freshly turned field
While preparing a field for planting, workers found large five-toed tracks and two very large cylindrical feces in a freshly plowed field. The tracks led from a grassy area onto a dirt road, into the field where the maker appeared to squat, dig up and eat turtle eggs, then continued into bordering woods. The reporter photographed the sign with a yardstick, made left and right foot casts, and collected fecal and eggshell samples for examination.

Frightened, the witness swerved around it without stopping and did not look back, later avoiding the road at night.

The witness was driving down an on-ramp to Interstate 59 at Exit 166 toward Birmingham in the afternoon when she noticed a figure beside the trees. She described huge green eyes, a visible shoulder, and an arm leaning on a tree, estimating the figure at 6 to 8 feet tall with dark gray-black coloring. The figure stayed behind the tree without moving and was seen only for a few seconds as she drove past.

The witness claims to have seen a single dark biped twice, in 1992 and 2002, at the same bridge on a highway in the Chance, Alabama area. The creature was described as about nine feet tall with very wide shoulders and crossed the road in about three strides. The sightings are said to have occurred at dusk on clear nights.

The witness and his wife sat on his truck tailgate at a power-line clearing late at night when they heard snorting, brush breaking, and a loud growl/grunt moving up a steep hill toward them. The witness saw a large shadow moving on the slope in moonlight, heard breathing and stomping, and smelled a musky sour odor. After revving the truck engine the sounds crashed rapidly downhill, and the pair left, seeing deer run across the road as they drove out.
Two friends have a possible nighttime sighting on a rural road outside Madison
Two companions were riding on a dirt road at night when their headlights illuminated a tall, dark bipedal figure standing in the road. The figure dropped what it was holding and leapt into the adjacent woods. The witnesses stopped and found a half-eaten rabbit at the spot, noticed a musky odor, and found no tracks on the hard-packed ground before leaving.

At dawn the witness was dressing in an upstairs bedroom before fishing when he saw a large hairy figure trotting through the edge of the woods toward a cabin and across an earthen dam between ponds. The witness and her husband were driving on a narrow gravel road looking for deer in the early afternoon when they noticed a large brown hairy figure bent over near a pine thicket. The figure then stood upright on two legs, showing long arms, broad shoulders, and an estimated 7- to 8-foot height, before running quickly into the thicket. The pair returned the next morning and reported finding small and large footprints, hair on a fence, damaged fencing and poles, and a persimmon with no nearby tree.

After revving the engine and pulling back over a hill, he watched for a few minutes as the calm animal turned and walked into the woods.
