A group of friends camped in a cove to fish and heard loud cracking of large branches on the steep mountainside at night. They gathered by the fire and heard nothing more, and half the party left the next day. When the remaining members returned from fishing they found all four large tents crushed by 300 to 400 pound boulders the witness believed were thrown from a cliff above for concussive fishing.

They state they collected hair attributed to a young Bigfoot and made casts of a large strange footprint and a possible knuckle print. At sunrise they fled, felt paralleled, heard a car skid nearby, and ran many miles out along railroad tracks without returning.

During that time they repeatedly had small objects land on their tent, heard bipedal circling footsteps and whistles at night, and felt watched. While still-hunting uphill alone in misty old growth, the witness first mistook a figure by a large fir for a bear coming down. As it dropped, he saw hands and a face and realized it was not a bear. The witness and a companion were partying with lights and loud music at their van in a campground where they said they were alone. The van's driver-side door slammed shut with great force though no one was seen nearby. The witness grabbed a knife and waited but saw nothing further.

During a month-long family camping stay at a park reserve, the group repeatedly heard bipedal footsteps, whistles, growls and mimicked speech, had food and towels taken or moved, and saw a seated silhouette watching the camp. Police with a canine and a helicopter with thermal imaging failed to locate anyone, and neighboring campers claiming military experience left abruptly. The witness does not label the cause as Bigfoot.
